Drag tires are meant to wrinkle like that, it gives better traction on the road

Once you guys are done with all the dcoms you should do an award show with categories like best/worst movie, most interesting premise, baddest mom, etc. A tier list would be cool too but I think this would be more interesting

If the guys are at all still curious, junior dragster racing cars have much smaller engines and are limited on speed based on age so it makes this a bit less exciting to watch. Top fuel dragsters are where it's at. They can make over 10,000 horsepower, produce 4-6G's of force through the run, and hit over 300 mph in 1000 feet. This all takes under 4 seconds for the top racers. The engines require a rebuild after every run due to the forces on the components. The tires buckle on launch both because it helps grip the drag strip(they also use traction compound, that's the liquid on the pavement) but also because when the tires are spinning at maximum speed the centrifugal forces would cause a completely inflated tire to explode. I actually kind of enjoyed this movie, not sure I watched it when it was on TV.
