Personally, Pokimane rubs me the wrong way but it has nothing to do with her gender. I think there is a large portion of people who don't like Pokimane for reasons other than her gender but whenever it is brought up people just dumb it down to "it's just because she is a woman" which makes it nearly impossible to say anything negative about her without being wrongly accused of being sexist.

I just think its like, if you dislike her content why would you feel the need to publicly share that. Unless you genuinely feel that she's making a negative impact or hurting people and by speaking out against her you are going to help, sharing discourse about why you personally dislike her is kind of meaningless. But more importantly, you need to keep in mind that since a large majority of the people that hate her online ARE doing it because she's a woman, if you want to discuss why you dislike her (Even if you hold it's for other reasons), you are contributing to the power of that sexist sentiment. So nothing wrong with disliking her, just be cautious about why/where you are sharing that, and how that can contribute to a larger harm. Smiley face

Yeah, there isn't any point in being vocal about it but it isn't even an option unless you are willing to get lumped in with the sexists. But ultimately it doesn't matter because it wouldn't change anything anyway and whether you like her or not she doesn't "need" to change either

Having the culture and community he does, you even point it out, it’s what the “in crowd” watches and takes in for media. I get that Lud hates making declarative statements about people, but Adin genuinely enjoys being a jackass. He doesn't feel bad about it, and shows that he likes his online personality as is. There's no reason to play devil's advocate for him

I really enjoyed this ep; was a bit more like serious than usual (still funny, obviously) but I liked seeing the like mature discussion going on as well. but yeah, monetary support isthe line for me and most I know. Write your hp fanfic if you want, if it's not tainted, no judgement, but the moral culpability is providing the monetary support. or, like, lie, yea, but if you have to lie about it, i think you kinda know you're answer, right?

I really appreciate you guys talking about the Mango/Armada beef on this episode, I was really sadge after the main episode when it didn't come up thinking you guys were just gonna dick ride Mango since he's your friend, but I really did appreciate the way you guys talked about it. I will say I think Mango's response was terrible, I think it was mature of him to extend the olive branch to talk privately, but the way he made it sound like both of them had made mistakes instead of just owning up to his own was super cringe.

Wow the Antwon discussion caught me offguard. I remember hearing about and it was just sad because Lil Ugly Mane, Antwon, and Wiki had a trio called Secret Circle who had stockpiled a bunch of music to release.
