The most art growth I ever had was when I transitioned to digital art from trad/photography when I was 25. I found artists whose styles and techniques I resonated with, something kicked me to just practice and study, and I had definite growth in a span of 6 months doing that on and off. So you, fellow digital artist, are definitely not too late at 18. :)

I was gonna say, oh my sweet lad, 18 is absolutely not too late to do digital art. I didn't start digital art till part way through college at 22/23, was NOT good, but now I am a professional graphic designer for my job, and I now there is still much to learn. It is a lifelong process, 18 is absolutely a good time to start
