Immigration counselor here. If his LPR card is marked as “CR,” meaning “conditional resident,” his green card is 100% dependent on you remaining married for at least two years. He will then have to do the petition I-751 to drop those conditions after he meets those two years. If USCIS catches wind that you two are no longer together, they would absolutely revoke his card, as you no longer meet the conditions if his visa. If his card is “IR,” meaning “Immediate Relative of a US Citizen,” then his status is not in danger if you break up.
