Since last month I have received many questions about the kitchen board overrides.

So I'll be posting a little guide here if you're still having trouble :)

First all of, I tested the boards and they're all working as of now. If for some reason they are showing up weird in your game, try downloading it again. Delete the old version and replace with the new one. If they're still not working, please let me know and I'll check it for you :)

There are 4 different kitchen boards (see them in the picture above).

* "BOARD 1" is the board our Sims use in the counter to cut and prepare ingredients.

* "BOARDS 2, 3 and 4" are the ones our Sims take from the fridge to start a recipe.

IF YOU'RE USING MY BOARD OVERRIDES:

* BOARD 1: I named it as "channel4sims - food replacements - cutting board - (+ver name)".

I created 12 different styles. You can only choose 1 of them.

* BOARD 2: It's called "channel4sims - food replacements - baking items board - (+ver name)".

For this one first you need to choose if you want a "clean" version or a "flour detail (the texture has some splashed flour details in the bowl) version." 

Then you download the "clean" or the "flour detail" zip file.

Inside the extracted folder there will be 27 different styles. Keep just the one you chose and delete the other 26 package files. You can only choose 1 of them.

There are 2 different versions you can choose from. You can only choose 1 of them.

* BOARD 4: It's called "channel4sims - food replacements - fridge vegetables cutting board - (+ver name)".

There are 2 different versions you as well. You can only choose 1 of them.

QUESTIONS:

* Can I use overrides for the four of them at the same time? 

Yes, because they're different boards. You can have these 4 board overrides in your Mods folder:

- channel4sims - food replacements - cutting board - (+ver name).

- channel4sims - food replacements - baking items board - (+ver name).

- channel4sims - food replacements - fridge bread cutting board -  (+ver name).

- channel4sims - food replacements - fridge vegetables cutting board - (+ver name).

* I want to use a different board now. How can I do it?

First delete the version you're currently using. Then download the one you want now, extract it and put it in your Mods folder.

* Do they conflict with other cc?

They won't conflict with any other cc of mine. 

But if you downloaded cc from another creator that overrides the boards, yes they'll conflict.

You'll have to choose which version you want to keep and delete the other one.

* Are the boards updated?

I always keep them updated. If you notice anything weird, please let me know and I'll fix it.

There's the option to follow a Patreon page. So if you use my overrides, please follow my page here so you'll know when something needs to be downloaded and updated again :)

Make sure you have the newest version of the item :)

* My game won't start:

If you have cc in your Mods folder that apparently is not broken, and still your game won't launch, try this:

- delete a file called "localthumbcache". It might be corrupted somehow. 

It's in Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 4.

Don't worry about deleting it. When you launch TS4 again, the game will automatically create a new  "localthumbcache" file for you.

NOTE: For the Simmer who asked me: It conflicts with A.I. Upscaled Food mod. If you use it and want to use my cutting board replacements at the same time, this is what you have to do:

When downloading the A.I. Upscaled Food Mod: Download the "Separated" version of the files. On zip file part 1 of this override mod, there will be a folder called "Base Game". Delete all "Cutting Board" files. Now it won't conflict with my board overrides anymore :)
