I just want to share with you something that happened to me, and maybe that can help you as well.

I was creating CC today, and every time I launched my game it seemed weirder and weirder. The main menu/homepage started disappearing. The options were gone and the menu was completely white.

So I closed my game and tried lauching it again. The EA app wouldn't work.

It logged out from my account and wouldn't let me log in again, saying there was a problem. I restarted my computer and tried again, but nothing solved the problem.

I decided to uninstall EA app and install it again. And when I did that... EA's website wasn't working. So I couldn't download the app installer. It took 5 hours for the website to work again.

When I could finally reinstall it, log in, and launch the game... All my expansion, packs, kits were gone. I only had access to the base game.

So I went to the EA app and repaired my game. To do it you have to go to your games library, select TS4. There are 2 options "Play" and maybe "manage"? I don't know how it's writen in English. But there you will find "repair".

Gladly I had made a copy of my The Sims 4 folder. If not, maybe I would have lost all my save files, tray, and even the cc I'm working on (that was on my Mods folder).

I don't know why this happened now. It's been a few weeks I changed (was forced to change) from Origin to EA app, and everything was working fine.

So, because of this change from Origin to EA app, and also because of the upcoming expansion, remember to back up your files (save, tray, mods,etc).

I decided to share it with you because some people are going through this issue, and don't know what to do.

Back up your files, then repair your game if it happens to you.

Apparently my game is back to normal now, but I lost half a day of creating cc because of it 😅
