One more question about cooking :)

I'm working on a more realistic cooking for TS4, making overrides, etc.

But what about the process of cooking?

Honestly, I think cooking is a little boring. There aren't many differences between one recipe and another.

For most recipes the process will be:

- The Sim will open the frigde and take that tray full of vegetables. Then they will cut two different ingredients on the counter. They will start cooking on the stove, season the food twice and that's it.

What about creating a "custom process" for each recipe?

I'll give you a little spoiler: I was editing the ramen recipe. More specifically the egg ramen.

While the Sim is cooking (using the stove), they would season the food twice (two actions). So I changed it and made the Sim season the food just one time (action 1) and then crack an egg and add it to the pan (action 2). It looked more realistic.

My only concern is adding more stuff and making the cooking process take longer.

I would have to balance between making it more realistic and taking time into account.

Would you like to see that change in the cooking process? :)

Oh, and of course, that would be an optional download on a separate package file (apart from the cooking overrides I'll be posting). So if you want to keep the recipes as they are, don't worry.

Feel free to answer/vote :)

Thanks for your opinion :)

As I'm for alpha CC and all my sims look realistic, it would be great if the actions they take are more realistic too! For story telling etc... I am so happy with your idea!!

I'm glad you like the idea! For people who play with alpha CC, it's probably nicer to have a more realistic game play as well :)
