Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Posts have been extremely slow and I owe you all an apology. Contract work has been insanely busy this year, and I can't talk about what I've been up to but let me just say, it's been leaked all over the place and it's out there if you really wanna know lol

This wasn't the only reason though. We all know nobody can post anything on patreon/gumroad/fanbox/etc without it getting picked up and reposted on 50 other sites. Lately it's gotten so advanced and immediate though, that even DMs and locked Discord servers get leaked in real-time and there's nothing artists can do about it.

I've seen people appeal to the admins of those sites, only to be hit by them and their communities with "too bad, looks like you'll have to get a real job now".

It baffles me to no end. Those of you who are just here to scrape my content and repost it elsewhere, I wish I could have an honest conversation with you and just ask you why. It doesn't make sense to me. You're not even profiting off of it, it seems like stopping artists from making their art is the goal. I assume you like horny art though, so why stop people from making more of it? If all artists go and get "real jobs", then none of us have anything to look at.

People start Patreons literally just so they can afford spending time to make more art. Reposters have this idea of being the Robin Hoods of porn, stealing from the rich artists and giving to the people, but ... you're not stealing from the rich. Or big corporations. You're stealing from individuals who finance their art through the support of their fans, because that's literally the only way to do this. 

This on top of encroaching censorship and the rise of AI has been paralyzing and kept me from shifting back towards my independent endeavors, which I count my Patreon as.

Despite all of this though, there's people who are willing to support artists, and it makes me wanna keep trying to make my own things. There's a lot I want to get back to work on, I wanna finish my BG3 zine, I wanna draw some X-Men, my OCs, I've got some original stories constantly rattling around in my head, I'm in the middle of a BDSM romance Dungeon Keeper comic not a single person asked for but I love making things you just didn't know you wanted yet.

I wanna get back to the fun part and spend unreasonable amounts of effort making silly horny art and share it with you.
