Thank you for another great reaction! I appreciate it so much! I don‘t think it was ever explained in the movies, and as you will not read the books, I thought I‘d let you know here (in case you did not find out otherwise meanwhile): the reason Dumbledore sent Harry to the Dursleys as a baby and why he must return there until he is of age, is because he cannot be attacked there by Voldemort, as long as he can call where his mother‘s sister lives „home“. It‘s because of his mother sacrificed herself for him (ancient blood magic). It‘s the strongest protection Dumbledore could have given him, although he of course condemns their behaviour towards Harry and would have wished that he is happy there, too.

Another great reaction! I'm so enjoying you watching these! I wanted to answer a couple of your questions as I can and without spoilers since I don't know how far ahead you are of us. Firstly you were thinking James Potter was a muggle. He was not. The Potters are a pureblood Wizarding family like the Malfoys. However Harry is the last descendant of the Potter line which is why he has so much gold in his vault. Basically it's inherited wealth. Lily Potter was a muggle born witch. The aunt and uncle Harry live with is Lilys sister and brother in law. James and Lily both went to Hogwarts and were both in Gryffindor. I won't say much about them as you will learn far more later. The one thing I will say that was left out of the movies entirely is the makers of the mauraders map that the Weasley Twins gave to Harry. It was made by Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. They were the mauraders. They were also some familiar people. Mooney was Professor Lupin (werewolf) he was turned into a werewolf at a young age and his friends wanted to be with him even during the full moon so for years during school James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew studied to become unregistered (which is illegal) animangi meaning they can turn into a specific animal shape at will. In order to control the werewolf, James opted to be a large buck (Prongs which by the way is also the shape of Harry's patronus), Sirius a large dog, much larger than the movie showed (Padfoot), and Peter became a rat (wormtail) to help in smaller areas. Hope that helps! 😁 also I crack up every time you say bye bitch.

The reason Dumbledore looks different is because he is a different actor. Richard Harris played Dumbledore in the first two movies. He passed away after filming the second movie. The rest of the movies it's Michael Gambon that plays the role. Also The Leaky Cauldron in the beginning is indeed where he is supposed to be at. Remember in the first movie..that is the pub that wizards hang out..and Hagrid led Harry through to the back...where he opened the bricks that led to Diagon Alley. 😊 And the "dog" (Sirius Black) was always after the rat..not Harry. When they said kill him...they meant the rat. BTW..If you ever go to Universal Studios..they have a ride "Harry Potter and the forbidden journey"...and you get to virtually fly thought the castle grounds like that. It's an amazing ride. ❤️

There were bits cut from the book that answer some of your questions. After the Fat Lady was attacked, a new portrait of a crazy knight was put up for a while. The tree was actually put there when Lupin started at the school. Just before he turned into a werewolf, he would be taken through the passageway to the Shrieking Shack (it was his howls that made people think the shack was haunted). The tree was planted over the passageway entrance to prevent anyone accidentally coming across him in werewolf form.
