Just a couple refreshers: 1) Rowling originally planned five movies in the series, but after this one failed badly, I don't expect any more. 2) The "Fantastic Beasts" series is basically Credence's story arc that leads us up to Dumbledore and Grindelwald's confrontation. 3) We did meet Dumbledore's brother in the final HP film when he saved the trio from being caught at Hogsmead. It's where you saw the painting of their sister.

We've met Aberforth Dumbledore before. He helped Harry, Ron and Hermione in the final HP film. Their sister, Ariana, was very briefly mentioned. There is an extensive backstory with her in the book but it's not really relevant to the overarching story so it was not included in the film.
