So, what about Discord-through-Patreon artist servers? I've seen other artists doing it for years, but much time has passed and I never though on doing that myself. What people do there and why would I do it too?

It adds community (if you work to create the community). It also adds some administrative work on removing older posts in the delivery channel. If you don't, then a new subscriber can see the delivery of every post back to the opening of the channel. So if you want the benefits of a chat community, go for it.

I feel it has a community appeal that the others have brought up. However, for me personally, I also feel there are way too many Discord servers to keep track of. I'd just like to enjoy TheMaestroNoob artwork and not much else. A server could serve as a notification center for new releases for non-Patreons though. As a Patreon, I get notified via email
