Story and Writing

• Basic Rework Notes
  • There is a minor overhaul of the story and its progress. I ended up moving around chapters to encourage a better flow in the story, and not adding too many characters early on. The main 3 girls (Pandora, Luna, Sistine) will be the primary narrative driving characters. Each Main Chapter focuses on them and something with the main narrative.
    
    I decided to split the story into segments, the main story and side / bonus content stories. The Main story will be around 21 chapters (may change) and focus on the main 3 girls. Side stories will involve some of the main girls, but will focus on another smaller group of characters, with a different plot and side story. The side stories will adopt another group of characters as the main lead of the story, as Luna, Pandora, and Sistine will become more of supporting characters in these side adventures. This will allow me to add in additional characters without having to make the Main Story convoluted with an overflow of characters. It will simply be extra content focusing on another group of characters including the original main 3 (Luna, Pandora and Sistine) with a focus on helping these new characters. Plus there will be more individual and multiple romance/eroge scenes for each of these side characters in these side stories.
    
    There are about 7 side stories which will likely be around the same length as around 7 chapters (about 1 story Arc) but may change depending on if the story is interesting / people want to see more of these characters and so on.
    
    I also made some adjustments to the pacing of the Main story in compensation of removing all the side stories and separating them. There will still be many characters who will be in the game, but will be more hidden away and have their own side stories and events unlocked as the main story is completed. For example, I could make it so you can start the Kitsune Shrine Maiden side story at the end of one of the chapters, allowing the player to choose if they want to partake in the side story or continue the main story. I believe having that option could be a nice change of pace with new characters and personalities working towards a similar goal to the main story. I just didn't want to water it down with it being forced into the main story, and I decided this was a much better idea with it being optional but if you want to 100% and get the true ending, the player will have to complete each of the side stories as well.

  • I shifted Sistine's Ch.2 story to be Ch.3 because i wanted to include some extra story elements before going straight into a date scene. I also am reworking Pandora's Ch.2 to be similar and moved her date scene into Ch.3.
    
  • The Introduction in Ch.2 was moved to Ch.4 since I didn't want to make a new maid character show up so early, so it'll give some time between the introductions and date scenes to then add her in later.
    
  • Divided the Main Story into 3 Major Arcs, around 7 Chapters Each with bonus scenes in between. Separated the other characters into Side Stories, but they still contain their own personal stories chapters as well, into several side story bonus content, like DLC's in a way. To get a better understanding, refer to the images posted below:
