So here’s what’s happening. For the past few months, I’ve felt increasingly dissatisfied with how I structured the story, kind of glossing over Chicadino’s involvement in favor for the castle story. Perhaps I got impatient to get to Friedrich and Poda, or felt at the time that the pacing worked, or didn’t consider how the story’s events came across to the audience, I don’t honestly remember. As Chicadino actually plays a pretty important role in the plot later on, it became more obvious that this was a mistake. So, right now, Poppy #4 is going on hold. I am writing and storyboarding a “new” Poppy story to go in between Poppy #2 and #3 that will more naturally introduce Chicadino in relation to Poppy and Canopy, to go up starting on Monday, November 10th. This is not a reboot or anything else so drastic, and while I’ll probably rewrite a couple of pages for consistency’s sake, the canon is otherwise going to be fairly unchanged. After the new Poppy #3 has been released, Poppy #4 (which will obviously now be #5) will continue on as it was. I considered finishing this story first, but there’s a certain upcoming event that will have significantly more impact with a bit more context involving the mob. My apologies for the delay and for any confusion, -Morbi

Thanks for explaining the situation. It was getting a little worrisome to watch you express more and more doubts about the story. Glad you've found a way forward.

Ahh, I know how that is, cuz. If rewriting a story was good enough for Tezuka, it's good enough for the likes of us!

It's cool man, 'tis your story after all, and if you're dissatisfied with the way something was portrayed, you're free to change it as you want... but anyway, thank you for telling us! Cheers!

I'm completely fine with the hiatus, and heck this actually gives us Patreoners time to cool down. You were putting out new comics much faster than I expected!
