Hello, everyone! 💕💕 I hope you had a good weekend? (As good as can be!)

I know this might seem a little unusual because I don't really draw DC fanart, but.. sometimes drawing this characters is just an itch I need to scratch!😂💕

Harley Quinn was my favorite character when she was first introduced on Batman TAS and I have always had a soft spot for the Commedia dell'arte / Arlecchino design! I wanted to take her costume back to a simplified harlequin design and make her a bit more menacing and chaotic. 

I had a few drawings in my sketchbook that I cleaned up..  I can explain a little bit of what I was thinking with these:

I had this vision of her rebuilt as this kind of.. dangerous Robin Hood?😂💕 She has some heavy aspirations to dismantle capitalism and the rich, but.. she's incredibly destructive and sews more havoc than good with her methods? I imagine her as an anarchist spirit.. someone who would see Wayne Enterprise as a villain- any means to dismantle it is justified, etc.. 

I also wanted to make her character of Italian descent. (The mug shot is an idea for her to spend time in Italian prison?) I wanted to forgo her usual accent and give her something more lofty and playful.. She has a few rhymes or.. recites a little poetry to shame the rich before she crashed their gala balls??  😂💦💕
