Mika pulled some strings to get one of her friends placed on color guard duty. When the young knight found out he bemoaned it as a boring, tedious, and uncomfortable task. However, his feelings changed quickly when he realized just how close he'd be to the duchess of Bastet. A smile and winking glance from the radiant and beloved monarch would have him thanking Mika later.

The winner of the Sneptember color poll! Not quite finished in time for Sneptember, but I was glad to get a chance to do a full color pic with Iva. I almost did a very basic and simple background for this piece, but after re-watching Dune Part 1 this week, I had extravagant royal processions on the mind and decided to go in a different direction with it. I think it really paid off, and I ended up pushing this picture a lot further than I originally thought I was going to.
