Carmelita comic page 4 WIP 2 & 3 (Patreon)

Progress! Base colors are down and I figured out the coloring / design of the cat OC that will be appearing on this page. I wanted her to look interesting enough that I wouldn't mind drawing her again later, while at the same time not sticking out so much that she distracts from Carmelita. Hopefully I've struck that balance. Generally speaking I prefer to go more subtle / natural with the color schemes of my OCs anyway, so it's working for me.

The idea of drawing a crowd shot was a bit intimidating so I decided to go low-detail. In the final page they will be darkened silhouettes with the stage lighting providing contrast, so I won't be going overboard with them. For now you get to laugh at my silly doodle-looking animal people.
