More-derlands (Patreon)

Cringy title, I know. But the Borderlands project progresses at nice pace and today brings more of it. Let's start with the cell-shaded-like experiment first. 

The main version, 'Welcome to Borderlands', has grown from 8 to 12 minutes. These few minutes make the story clear - if you remember my early videos, made in early 2021, and more specifically Subverse - Lily episodes, this Borderlands video has definitely been inspired by them.

So that is something I have been working on, but the video itself isn't finished yet - what is left there to do, is to reverse the flow. You'll understand when you see the video.

I am certain this main video will be finished next week. Based on raw footage I'm working with, it will total some ~15 minutes, so full episode length. It will have custom thank you screens for top and long-time patrons, all those bells and whistles.

But we are not done yet, because there is also the alternative NONderlands version. To reduce the amount of bad puns, I have renamed it to 'Welcome to the Wastelands'. If you aren't a fan of Borderlands style, this video might interest you more, as there are some real good-looking scenes there. Some of my finest works to date, I think.

This video has grown from 1 to 3 minutes. It will be much shorter than the main video - but since it will miss just the initial (long) story, that shouldn't be a problem. Both videos are packed together, same link, same password as mentioned last week.

So that's that, there are six minutes of new video content this week in total, fully realized with voice-over, visual effects, all that jazz. Next week, we will be nearing (this full episode's) completion. Oh, right, and the poll too.
