Experiments in pink and red (Patreon)

Similar to last week, I keep adding more Aerith-focused scenes to 'Eldritch Vacation'. More specifically, I added various new scenes to the 'Aerith's Turn' video.

Some of the new scenes focus on Aerith's face or the upper half of her body. Last week, the scenes zoomed in on her lower areas, so today's scenes create the full picture.

I also tried to combine two scenes into one to portray the perspective of two cameras at the same time. It is kind of hard to describe, but check the video; it should explain itself.

Naturally, I also continued Aerith's X-ray scenes. I tried to combine both the outside and inside scenes, which is always tricky and more of an experiment than anything else. Look at the image below.

A single scene like this one requires that I create two separate videos and overlay and synchronize them perfectly in post-production, which is fairly complicated and time-consuming work. 

The one "inside-and-outside" scene that is already present in the video is fairly short; I will expand it over the next week. More hard work lies ahead, but when the results are worth it, I don't regret it at all.

Last but not least, there is the simple continuation of last week's X-ray scenes as the tentacle reaches Aerith's deepest depths and begins exploring "stuff" there. I think I finished the majority of the internal scenes for this video, the first act.

There are still quite a few scenes left to finish, with slow rendering being the biggest problem I am dealing with. If I am lucky, I might finish Act 1 of 'Eldritch Vacation' next week, but it's far more likely it will take two weeks instead.

On the upside, this will leave us in a pretty good position to start Act 2 and whatever else might come after. It could be that 'Eldritch Vacation' begins a new series of connected videos, or something like that. We shall see.
