Release Updates | Plans This Week! (Patreon)

Hey!  Got some news to share about Kingdom of Passion's next update so let's get straight to it!

== Release Window ==

Just as a reminder, Beta 0.1 is planned to release this month!  Ideally, I'm hoping to fully complete the update by this Thursday or Friday so $5+ KoP Patrons can play it.  However, I might need an extra day or two (or three).

I also do not foresee any need for major delays.  While there's plenty more I'd love to get done, I think this update is in a nice playable state for the first major update!

== Beta 0.1 Contents ==

Beta 0.1, in many ways, is more of an Alpha 2 update as there's still a lot of core mechanics that need completing.  Stats still aren't fully implemented and the combat only has the very basics.  Most characters and buildings can't be interacted with yet either.

However, I wanted to begin the NSFW content so Eliza's story has some initial quests that you can now do!  It's not much.  Future updates I plan to have usually 2 scenes instead of 1, but remember a lot of this update was focused on finishing up the main map and getting some other basics down such as the Day 1 tutorial.

With Beta 0.1, I'm in a position now to focus a bit more heavily on characters and NSFW content as we move forward!

Reminder: Alpha saves are NOT compatible with Beta 0.1.  You will need to restart in order for new features to work properly.  Future updates should not run into this issue with save compatibility.

== Teaser Coming Up! ==

I'll be teasing the NSFW scene for $3+ Patrons very soon as well so keep your eyes peeled for that!  I know I'm a little late with the teasers this time around but it's been quite a busy few months of development.  I hope you all understand!
