It's been a long time in the making but I'm so happy to finally be able to share a playable update for Kingdom of Passion!

This version of the game is an Alpha update, so I consider it to still be very incomplete and rough around the edges in many ways.  But I also think this is a good enough demo to share with players to help see what's to come and what to expect while playing!

Currently, you can start the game and get through about half of the first day.  The later half of the first day will continue to have more events and should continue serving as a tutorial but I will need some more time to get those moments added in.  It is a bit shorter on gameplay but that should change in the next update once more gameplay loops are added with interactions & exploration.

Presentation was a big focus with this update with different lighting tests and more energetic cutscenes.  This sort of style is what I plan to continue with as the game grows.  I hope you all enjoy those improvements!

Working on this Alpha update has been quite a challenge but as things have started to come together, I've found myself absolutely overjoyed.  If eels great to return to that familiar feeling I had when developing Town of Passion.  It truly feels like a proper sequel in the works and I can't wait to continue working on more!  But until then, I hope you all enjoy this Alpha update!
