Beta 0.8 & Version 1.0 | Release Info & Pricing (Patreon)

Hey everyone!  I've got a bit of news to share about Version 1.0 of Sexy Quest as well as pricing and more!

== Version 1.0 ==

The finished version of Sexy Quest - Version 1.0 is going to release in May!

I've needed to push it back a little bit because there's still more work that I need to get done.

There's been quite a few changes throughout the game and I hope players who enjoy JRPG mechanics find that the game now feels fairly balanced between EXP, movesets, equipment, and more!

And of course, there will be new NSFW scenes!  In total, there are 5 brand new scenes, although 1 or 2 of those scenes will be in Beta 0.8 which I'll talk about in the next section.

== Beta 0.8 ==

Next week, I will be releasing a partially completed version of Sexy Quest exclusively for $5+ Patrons.  Beta 0.8 will NOT have a free/public release since the final version is almost complete.

Because Version 1.0 releases on itch, this is the only update where $5+ Patrons don't have an early test window.  So I thought this would be a cool way to give $5+ Patrons something to enjoy while I spend a few more weeks finishing the game.

Beta 0.8 features an almost fully completed Sexy Quest.  It should include 1 or 2 new side quests (with NSFW scenes) as well as a partial continuation of the storyline and features many changes to the core gameplay & story.

Unlike previous Beta releases, this version will not go public since Version 1.0 of Sexy Quest should be releasing only a couple weeks later.

== Version 1.0 Pricing ==

When Version 1.0 of Sexy Quest releases on itch, it will be sold at a price of $5.

At the time of release, for one month, $3+ Sexy Quest Patrons will receive a download key to play the game!*

*You will have to make sure your itch.io account is connected to your Patreon account in order to receive a download key.

I plan to release Version 1.0 within a month after Beta 0.8 releases.  This way, $5+ Patrons who pledge at/around the time of Beta 0.8's release should still be able to get a download key of Version 1.0 within the same pledge window.  If timed right, it's almost like a pre-purchase of the final version while getting to play Beta 0.8.  Of course, I can't guarantee Version 1.0 will be finished in that 1-month time frame but I will be pushing heavily to get it done.

When Version 1.0 releases, it will go straight to itch so there isn't the usual 3 day early release window, but again, $3+ Patrons (if connected to their itch account) will be able to get a download key and play it at a discounted rate.
