Since the early days of planning Town of Passion, I've wanted this game to have a lot of substance; a lot to do and find.

Working in game design and working with artists, I've gained a much better grasp on time management and knowing where to set my expectations since a year ago.

One thing I want to test, starting with 0.9.9 is the addition of occasional 'echo' scenes (yes, Smash reference).  These are scenes that are much more efficient to create and serve as palette swaps of previous scenes.  The idea is that these scenes help give more to bonus materials like costumes and side quests.

IMPORTANT: New scenes and content will STILL be the priority.  But these echo scenes allow us to add more content in a reasonable manner.  Think of them as the cherry on top of the ToP cake.

I think you guys will like these as they come through, especially if you're a fan of older costumes that may only have one scene prior.  Or if you're just a fan of more content!

ALSO: Work on 0.9.9 is moving along, however, there is still new art that needs to be finished for it so I can't unfortunately give an update on release date.  I'm hoping to have it out by Halloween but it's a bit too soon to say.  I will have more info for you guys soon!

Thank you all for your support!  I'll see you soon with more news!

It might be more trouble than it's worth but if you build the echoing system into the game you could have a super customizable scene viewer as a 100% completion unlock or something of that nature. Pick the girl plus the pose + scene.

Haha that would be pretty incredible! Sadly you're right that it'd would be nearly impossible to pull off and would take years of work. Really cool idea though!! That's an idea I can hold onto for future projects though...

Is the halloween event available on 9.1? Or only available on the upcoming 9.9 release?

The Halloween content from last year is always available. The 0.9.9 content isn't exactly a Halloween event, but it will be available soon. It is not in 0.9.1. Hopefully that clarifies things
