Some updates (Patreon)

Hiya everyone! It's been a crazy few weeks, huh? Crazy stuff going on in the world and in this corner of the world I've been able to draw a lot! I haven't had a bus shift since March, since I'm in a covid-19 risk group, so I've opted to self-isolate as much as I can. Before I move on to the updatey stuff, I need to thank those of you who come to my bi-monthly livestreams and keep me company. I've had a lot of fun with them, and I hope you have too!

First off I need to adress Patreon's new Sales tax thing. Basically, just like how they've been required to collect VATMOSS for a while now, from July 1st they'll be required to collect sales tax for... pretty much everywhere else too. I've looked over all the tiers and selected the appropriate benefits to each of them, which affects how much sales tax you'll be charged. Most of the tiers are mostly just general support, and that part won't (or shouldn't) be taxed. Commission and suggestion box tier Patrons will likely see some of the pledge being taxed though. From what I gather it's about 5% or so, and only on the part of the tier not considered "general support". Please let me know if anything looks weird when the next round of charges go through. This is as new to me as it is for you, after all.

Second, in two months I'll be moving to a bigger place on the country side with Goattrain! We've been cooped up in a tiny one room flat ever since he moved here in November last year, and now I might just have found the perfect, more permanent, home for us. We had to jump on it :) So, because moving costs a lot of $$$ I'll probably be doing a few public commission streams to help raise funds for it. It's nothing panicky like the last time I moved (During the whole barely-lawfully-evicted fiasco nearly two years ago), but I'd like to hunker down and do my best to work up the money needed for a smooth move. I'll finally have an actual office/studio too. How cool is that? 

Of course, this also means that we'll both likely be away for a bit the end of August and beginning of September, while doing move things. So I apologize in advance for that!
