Updatey update post (Patreon)

Hi!
First of all, I hope you're all doing well and keeping your health, considering all the... stuff... going on right now. I won't go in depth about that here, but suffice to say you're all in my thoughts, along with my family and friends.
With that said, as many of you know already; I quit my permanent bus driver employment. In hindsight it might not have been the best of timings, but at the moment people didn't know how bad the whole virus thing was going to get so... what's done is done. No other direction to look than forward :')
I want to make clear I'm still a bus driver. Just with my new contract I got the freedom to choose which days I'm available to work and which days I'm not, which makes it possible for me to adjust the bus driver schedule around my art, instead of the other way around. The other contract I had served me well, in that it helped ensure Goat could move in with me and we can start living as an actual married couple, finally. He's living with me since November, and we both couldn't be happier!
So what now?
Well, I want to focus more on art again. With less bus work and all the social distancing; No better time for it!
One thing I've been working on is adjusting my public commission prices to both reflect the direction my art has taken lately (More anhro for example) and to give my art a fighting chance of actually competing with my bus job in a financial sense. That's all boring businessy stuff, but in short: If you commission me in the future you might want to read things through a bit more carefully. More info about that once its all done and I open public commissions again.
Second thing concerns my lovely, lovely sugarcube patrons!
Things have always been a bit messy in how I've accepted sugarcube commissions, how they were put in the queue and how priority would work etc. It has been quite a bit stressful and I've felt it hasn't been entirely fair to you, nor to me. Its been slow and messy. So, after bouncing ideas off a few lovely people, I've decided to change things up a bit.
1) The Biggest change: Commissions will now be accepted through a google form posted the first week of each month, and finished off in livestreams on Friday or Saturday, the 2nd and 4th weekend of the month. Exactly which days I stream will be announced along with the form each month, and exceptions can be made for private or gift commissions, just let me know and we'll work something out.
2) All commissions will be finished in stream, and to be able to request changes you'd need to either be viewing or send someone to view and request changes on your behalf. If you are unable to do either, I will treat it as a "wing-it" commission, where I work from your description and send you a finished piece. (Again, exceptions to this can be made for private or gift commissions, as well as other unforeseen circumstances. Just talk to me. I promise I won't bite :) Goat got me well fed on toilet paper)
3) Since they'll now be stream commissions, all Sugarcube commissions will henceforth come with a 30% discount off regular commission prices, assuming at least half of the commission is paid with cubes. (With my updated price list, this means your commission will either be today's prices or cheaper~)
4) I'm adding an upper limit of 40 cubes per Patron, on top of the old 1 year expiry rule, but exceptions can be made to this in case you're saving the cubes for something specific, such as an image series, as long as you let me know.
5) I'll be accepting commissions in order based on how many cubes you got, if any of them are about to expire and if its been a while since you got a commission. This'll be a regular thing from now on, so we shouldn't run into any cases of cubes risking expiry from now on, but still.
Phew, that was a lot to type out. I hope I managed to get through what I've been meaning to say, but if anything's unclear do please leave a comment on this post. Other people might have the same thoughts after all! I also accept any and all constructive criticisms on these changes, or on how this Patreon is run in general. I'm as always eternally grateful for you guys' support, and I want to do right by you. You're free to message me if you don't want to make a public comment, <3
Thank you, and stay safe!
