Charon (wip + commentary) (Patreon)

Here's my WIP design of Charon, a retired ferryman reaper. who is perhaps the oldest of all the ancient reapers.

Even though retired, he just hangs around the river Styx. It's not like he has other places to be anyway. He is like a rich old grandpa that occasionally gives his grandchildren spending money.

Katie visits River Styx often to hangout and play games with the drowned souls and Charon. 

If you put two of Charon's obols in his eyes (one per eye), he dispenses mystery gift for you to keep. Often they are priceless artifacts with very special properties.

Minor story/lore spoiler:
From Charon, Katie will get a special accessory that will grants the wearer Charon's protection which Katie will give to Agnes. With it, Agnes can visit Katie in the purgatory without suffering any fatal penalties.
