Before watching today's video, I recommend reading my earlier blog post (LINK) about the cross country rules and jump types, if you haven't already. The video showcases the different jump types as well as the points system, that lets you choose riskier obstacles for extra points at some locations. Combination jump support (A-B-C etc) has now also been implemented into the racing system, as you can see at jump 2 for example, it has 2A (with two options) and 2B. These have to be completed seamlessly in one try, if your horse refuses at B you have to jump the whole combination from the beginning again.

After the course your time would get converted into points too, based on how close to ideal time you were (the UI elements for this are lacking so it doesn't yet show up in the video).

Edit: Forgot to mention two additional things - the water galloping sound effects have been changed and I was also testing out brown tack.

I really love the music for this competition! β™₯ The environment is pretty and the water jumps in and out are super interesting, it was a little confusing at some point during this race since I thought "ok they passed the finish line", when you were at around jump 12 but nope there was more and the end of the race was in the open, so that was a little confusion for me and I honestly like the animations more in the DEMO version, not sure why but it just feels different, of course, this is still a W.I.P so it is not done by a mile but keep going at it, it really is looking bright for this game! β™₯

I really like how this is going with the envioronment and details, but the animations are just not it. It is like the horses legs are having a mind of their own. And the horse is so stiff and does not go with the rider. The rider is also very stiff and does not flow very nice. Personally I like the animations better in the demo right now. I know that you are still working on the game but I hope it will look beter before the game is fully released...
