May Update! (Patreon)

Hey all! 

Looks like spring is in full swing, and it's creepin closer to summer! I had mentioned this in the last WIP update, but I'm set on finishing the Brig animation this month and I'll be re-opening commissions once that takes shape. It's been a long time coming, but I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out so far, and I've learned oodles from the process (mainly how not to do it, but ya know, potato patato). I've already got some plans for another voiced animation, but I'm also looking to get more involved in physics, modeling/rig, and sound design. While I've had a good amount of animation experience (sort of), I think that once I am able to properly create ideas from scratch I'll have a lot more freedom when it comes to tackling more ambitious projects. Thankfully, through this crazy expansion adventure I've connected with a lot of different artists who have a plethora of knowledge at their disposal, and I've already gotten several tips and tricks that have saved me lots of head and heartache. At any rate, I'll be looking to intersperse a few test animations in/around the main uploads, and I'll be sure to keep you up to date on my expanding endeavors.  

I'll be kicking off another Patreon Pin-Up tomorrow, and I'm also planning on doing a 1-day animation 'challenge' later in the month. This'll essentially be a 24 hour window to prep, animate, composite, and render a short animation, with suggestions coming from the Patrons! Due to the time constraints the animation will be limited, but I think it'll be a good stress test and a chance to apply what I've learned with a definitive timespan. 

As a last note, I think I'm far overdue for a Patreon and Twitter banner, and I'm not too sure what I do to liven it up a bit. I'll try to get around to updating it later in the month, but if you have suggestions let me know (unfortunately it'll have to be more or less SFW since it's publicly available, but that just means covering them honkers).
