Did I miss something? I originally binged the first six episodes, that Mira/Luna romance seemed to come out of nowhere. Also, I thought it was really messed up of Riley for her to deny Anya her end. Her whole life has been dedicated to eradicating the monsters who killed her friends and have been snacking on sleeping humans. She finally has the opportunity to end the threat, and Riley (who’s been alive for all of a month) tells her that everything Anya’s lived through doesn’t matter and she needs to move on. Great, now the Whistlers are a threat for everyone else, and countless more humans will be murdered by them because Riley is talking about shit she knows nothing about. I hope Anya finds some survivors (assuming the Whistlers don’t eat every other human) who aren’t selfish moralists. I really liked the rest of the series, but this episode was really jarring and kind of a let down because I found myself really annoyed by the protagonists.

I might have cried at the end just a little not gonna lie ;_; Great story! I'm gonna miss them! Also I'm still intrigued by the whistlers, wish we got more of them since they are sentient and even got the ship! So curious! Also commander Anya!!! YES!! The guide and guardian of the awoken! Thank you for this series, amazing work!

Damn I'm a little surprised that ending was as hopeful & less dire as it was given Jonny's record otherwise tho perhaps we have sasha cowriting to thank for it. 🤣Either way I do like that while I'm hella curious to know what happened to the ship & what the whistlers are & if they'll all survive I do like how this show wasn't about the past & loss but about moving forward & beyond survival. ❤️
