It is an incredibly exciting week here at Rusty Towers with the imminent launch of a brand-new podcast: Neon Inkwell. Neon Inkwell is a new style of podcast feed for Rusty Quill: it will be a home for short audio drama series between five and ten episodes each. The goal of this feed is to highlight new and underrepresented creators from around the world and showcase a few from recognised Rusty Quill favourites. Coming up in the future will be quirky monster road trips, private investigating wizards and necromancers, and a coming-of-age story about cults and culpability.
The very first series featured on Neon Inkwell is an incredible seven-episode series written by Sasha Sienna (who writes our spin-off What the Ghost episodes and voices Georgie Barker in The Magnus Archives) and Jonathan Sims (co-creator of The Magnus Archives and The Magnus Protocol). Of That Colossal Wreck follows five survivors as they awaken on a vast space station, intended as humanity’s last defence against oblivion. However, there are other beings interested in the vast facility…
Neon Inkwell will be releasing weekly on Fridays, or our Knights and Nobles Patreon subscribers will be getting 48-hour ad-free early access, meaning the first episode is available now! You can listen to the first trailer for the series, and subscribe or follow the feed on your favourite podcast app now: just search for “Neon Inkwell” wherever you find podcasts. Please note that some podcast players take longer to pick up new feeds than others.
If you enjoy the show, please recommend it to your friends, write a review or leave a rating on your favourite podcast app – let’s launch this incredible anthology series with a bang! Of That Colossal Wreck is perfect for fans of horror and The Magnus Archives, but Neon Inkwell will showcase multiple genres, with a new and exciting new short series every few weeks.
Merch sales
As we near the holiday season, there will be some sales on our official merchandise stores! Keep an eye on our official stores, Crowdmade, Teepublic and Redbubble, which all currently have great cost savings on our merch. Here’s a few of our favourite designs.
