Hi folks,

Today we have a very special Thursday update for you.

As you may know, Neon Inkwell is our upcoming anthology podcast feed. It will be home to short-form audio dramas (think anywhere between 5 and 8 episodes) created by both well-known and brand-new creative teams from around the world. We currently have eighteen months of episodes planned, with series in various stages of production from fully recorded to casting and pre-production.

Today, we are delighted to announce that the Neon Inkwell feed will be launching publicly on 24th November with Of That Colossal Wreck, a science fiction horror from Sasha Sienna and Jonathan Sims. Many of you will already be familiar with Sasha’s writing as part of the team behind Doctor Who: Redacted and for their work on What The Ghost, the Patreon bonus spin-off show for The Magnus Archives. They’ve also written extensively as part of the team behind TTRPG company, MacGuffin & Co. Meanwhile, fans of The Magnus Archives will of course be already familiar with Jonny from his work on our very own hit horror show. As well as writing for The Magnus Archives and The Magnus Protocol, Jonny has two published horror novels Thirteen Storeys and Family Business, and is the other half of the MacGuffin & Co team.

Of That Colossal Wreck is ideal for fans of The Magnus Archives, blending Jonny’s unique brand of horror with Sasha’s creative world building, perfect for fans of the Aliens franchise and the video game Prey. If you can’t wait for The Magnus Protocol to release in January, this is definitely a show for you.

When five artificially grown people awaken on an abandoned space station long after the extinction of humanity, they must confront their purpose, their future and the carnivorous alien beings that have taken over the facility.

We’re also really pleased to be able to introduce Maxamillian John (Definitely Human) to you as the director.

We also have an incredible cast to bring the show to life. You’ll recognise Aaron-Louis Cadogan and Ellie Dickens from their parts in Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later, and we’re delighted to introduce Catherine Luff, Hannah Raymond-Cox, Kate Sketchley and Euan Shedden.

Aside from Of That Colossal Wreck, we are currently working on several other short series. We’re in the process of casting for The Pit Below Paradise, which is written by J. Evelyn Gaskell and directed by Micah Rodriguez (How It Ends) and Stephanie Resendes (How It Ends); and Welcome To Fosters, which is written by Imogen Cassidey (who wrote Expenses, a Patreon-exclusive fluff episode inspired by The Magnus Archives) and directed by Chris Magilton (Among The Stars And Bones). Both shows will appear on the feed following Of That Colossal Wreck.

As always, Patreon subscribers at the Knights and Nobles tiers will get 48-hour ad-free early access to every episode, meaning the first episode will be available here on 22nd November. We can’t wait to share it with you and introduce you to so many amazing creators and performers.

Thanks, as always, for your support.
