Dear readers,

Our most recent MODERN MOGAL comic, “Chapter IF”, has received a fair amount of criticism from the internet. We take your criticism very seriously, and we accept the responsibility of not being careful enough with our content. 

The controversy of “Chapter IF” is in part caused by the cultural differences between East and West on campus love stories. So when we came up with the story, our focus was to create a story around high school campus life and the romantic relationship was an unexpected idea, but we accepted this idea from our guest creator and believed it was an adorable piece of work. 

However, making our heroine a senior high school student has caused valid concerns of pedophilia and of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student; which wasn’t what we intended for the series.

We will keep creating stories set in the MODERN MOGAL world, and will evaluate our materials much more prudently than before thanks to this lesson. Thank you for your opinions and support.
