Every time I watch Kingdom I'm willing myself to like The Boyz, and I can't really. I like their personalities. Sunwoo is such such such a cutie. One of my fav non-stray kids idols on this show, along with Bobby and all of BtoB. And that segment with them at the amusement park and all the emotions...well, I'm a sucker for that, so get teary eyed as well. But I've finally come to the realisation that their music is just not really my style. So I can never really get into their stages. Such a shame, because they're really good, vocally, in presentation, in dancing...just not my music. It's okay, taste is personal. Had to smile so much at your reaction to Wolfgang. It was clear it was your favourite out of the three so far. Although you clearly loved Ateez as well. Ateez' stage was so fun and really their sound, which is much more to my own personal taste than the Boyz'. What a journey for all these groups. And you're right...they were probably sitting there for hours and hours, very uncomfortably, just waiting in between. One more episode..... You do know there is behind the scenes stuff as well, right? And you know that the winner gets to do kingdom week? Which is a series of 7 episodes (hence the word week lol). All well worth watching.

One of the things I always love about Stray Kids' performance is that they actually leave a space in their formations for Hyunjin. Han lip syncs the verse before his that Hyunjin sings in the album release of the song, and at the end when they stand on the dancers' backs and make their final pose you can see a deliberate gap left for Hyunjin. I love how even though it was a competition there was no way they were going to release a new Stray Kids song without him, so they made his presence known even if he couldn't be with them in the competition. I also really love Ateez's performance because it feels like such a fun celebration and nod to their Kingdom journey. These poor groups though, after they perform the adrenaline crash is probably pretty hard to deal with and stay an 'active' person whilst on camera. That clip of Felix remined me of one of the recent awards shows where Felix almost fell asleep when they weren't performing. These guys use so much energy, they need food and a nap. They should have allowed snacks, popcorn for the audience.

I never noticed that. In kingdom, anyway. I knew that they did that for other performances. It's such a great way to show love for him.
