I think the reason the one member from BTOB is missing in some of the scenes is that he was sick. You can tell he's not his normal self during the interview parts so he probably did what he could to get through the performance and then left. I don't think he's in the next episode either but he does come back to the show once he's better. Also, for the rankings amongst themselves...I don't think a group can vote for themselves. I say this because there was a comment from one of the guys (I can't remember who) that mentioned that they got ALL 5 of the votes. I interpret this to mean that they received votes from all 5 of the groups that could vote for them. This would also explain why in some of the battles the group in 6th wouldn't get any votes. They would if they were allowed to vote for themselves unless they were really humble.

Changsub was sick and very tired. At that time he was preparing a musical too. He and Eunkwang are musical actors too

And about the album sells or other method of judging popularity, this video is pretty interesting https://youtu.be/Fbkoznft-1M

About the no interaction, from what I remember Peniel made it sound like it was more to do with them not spoiling each other's performances so that their reactions could be genuine. Of course, covid had a bit to do with it too, but yes I wish they interacted more. Also, your reaction to Minhyuk asking if you want to come in😂🤣😂...but honestly SAME!

I hate that Jeongin cried and was so upset about his performance. Honestly I wouldn't have noticed anything if they didn't make a big to-do about it. They claim he had a voice crack, but like you said, it sounds just like raw emotion which in my opinion makes it even better.

This round always hurts for me because I genuinely loved almost all performances. BTOB Back Door is iconic, Ateez and iKon are so good, I couldn't rank them, but Stray Kids being placed last and by such a significant margin in the expert votes is something that just feels upsetting to me. I know someone has to come last and I would struggle to rank them, but this is also one of my favourite performances of theirs on Kingdom, it felt really interesting to see them rework a love song into something different and give that narrative performance and I always love the end part with the mixture of rapping and singing. It hurts that they came last, but more so perhaps because they made such a thing about how the group produced and made the performance themselves. However, for me this round is like five groups in 1st place and one in 2nd. Love the performances, not the voting. But it did give us a glimpse of dad leader Chan which is a fondness for me, even if I hate that I.N felt so badly about himself.

I liked the three performances they showed in this episode a lot. Of this whole round, the Boyz was my least favourite performance as well. SF9 showed something very different with the action and such and it did have a clear theme. Ikon had a great performance and I think they did the inception theme well with limited means and such. Ateez was great. The only thing I found a bit odd about the Ateez performance is how they started off saying they want to show a clear narrative start-to-finish (which is what they were complemented on the previous time) but I did not get a clear narrative from this performace. It was an awesome performance with lots of memorable moments, but these moments seemed quite separate to me. (For instance, the human emotions disease mentioned at the start never came back, did it?) I love BTOB and their take on 'Back Door'. It showed 4 different personalities while also nicely connecting all of them. This Stray Kids performance is one of my favourites. Not just because it showed Stray Kids in a different light than people were/are used to, it had a complete story. They took the song and made it a completely different version.

I remember how in the first episode you were sort of saying that you favoured an expert vote over a public vote (not your wording) and I know I wondered if you'd change your mind. It's clear that you did. The judging was weird. Of course the margins are small with these stages. They were all amazing. My fav three were in this episode. And yes, I know I'm biased, but I do have reasons aside my bias. BtoB did something amazing with a song that was way out of their usual thing and completely made it their own. It was amazing. And fun. And showed really good story telling as well. Ateez was great. Always love their stages. I do agree with another comment here, though, they said they were going to show a clear narrative and unlike their previous stage, I did not get that. I got spectacle, but the narrative was not clear. Stray Kids....it was the performance that touched me. It was actually one of the first stages I ever saw from them. And tears fell just from watching this. And when a performance touches my soul like that...well, to me that's what performing is about. And as someone who has been in musical theatre singe early teens, this felt like a musical in one song. Brilliant. It wasn't until after I'd seen it that I heard all about why there were only 7 and I put the pieces of the puzzle of the deeper meaning of this song together. And it meant even more. So even without that....the fact that it touched me so much, made it my fav stage. And it's still, to this day, one of my absolute favourite stages from Skz, not just from Kingdom (although they're making it hard because every new stage is amazing). That voice crack from I.N.??? Seriously...exactly as you said: that added emotion. Okay, technically..it was a voice crack, but on stage that's emotion and it's okay. You didn't even notice until they went back to it. Most people didn't. That's why they did win the public vote for this stage. You saw they were 6th with the experts and peer judging, and then ended up 5th overall....the numbers are still online. They won the youtube views AND the global votes. It wasn't enough because the experts judges had given them so little points that they couldn't climb up more than one place, even with those two wins. And it made the votes vote even more...which I'm sure was good for Mnet. Anyway..don't want to go that route. The public clearly loved them. INterestingly enough, Ateez were last in the global voting. So it's all over the place. The great thing for us? We get fantastic stages. Oh and I.N. crying his heart out. Okay, we get Chan being so lovely and the line "When did you get so big? I can't even hug you anymore" is used a lot since then, even by stays to stray kids, but it hurts like crazy. And you reacted to the two kids room where they talk about his crying, so I'm not spoiling anything...he continued to cry at home. They members were together and I.N. sat alone at the kitchen table and cried. They found him and consoled him. And now he can laugh about it and it's made him stronger. But he really was inconsolable. So it hurts to watch that bit. He blamed himself so much. Anyway...looking forward to the rest of your journey with Kingdom!!!

This episode has been discussed a lot online , even people who were not fans of stray kids loved their performance . Their whole concept was extremely moving . From 3racha discussing how it would represent that they(stray kids) would make a deal to have their lives taken to bring back those they love, those that are missing in their life . Dance and vocal racha making rings that represented stray kids and their bond , they even had the 8th ring hung around the statue of the boys neck . This performance was about something more than the show and I admire them for that . All the performance were amazing , so much talent on one show . I love watching how passionate you are about music . You give us your genuine reactions even if we don't agree with your opinion it's always a true reaction not one to please the majority Thankyou

SKZ being ranked as they were by the experts was baffling to me.
