That reminds me of when I had fallen asleep on my own sofa and my sphynx, who was still a kitten less than ten months old back then, woke me up by grabbing water with his semi-webbed paws from a glass on the low living room table and splashing it in my face... XD

Sometimes I wonder if Maeve was an accident. Like not to be mean just honestly curious. Especially since Keidrans seem to be somewhat naughty by nature. Plus it'd be interesting to know Adira's history like if she was more promiscuous and immature in her younger years and it resulted in Maeve and through her experiences as a mother, she learned to be more mature and become a better Keidran.

Maybe? Given what we know of Keirdan, I’d say there are a lot of unplanned but not unexpected pregnancies. In some villages, it may be half expected that females of a certain age mate and become mothers, regardless of who the father is. Of course, you have to remember that Keidran ovulate after their heat, not during. I would be interested to know what the typical Keidran family situation is. If it is actually, mother and father based, or if single mothers, supported by the whole village, are also common.
