I'm completely out of step with the Twokinds community on this choice.

*Google*: So you want to go to Tiger Land? Me: YES!

The colors are just purrfect!

AstroChaos

So colorful! <3

ChampionOfBagels

So that thing over her chest... could she be straight up wearing another person?

SCD

They're trying to find the ruins of La-Mulana.

noxamillion

It is fitting that the objectively best sketch of July gets first place in the color vote. Things are just here.

SCD

Tiger Land is known as "The Happiest Place On Earth".

noxamillion

I concur. You can tell in both the sketch and ink phases that Tom put a significant amount of effort into this piece.

CrimsonQuill086

It is such a good picture this....Aaaaaaand saved!

metalman20

Ahhhhhhh it’s so FREAKING GOOOOOOOD!!!!

Ellarihan

What to say ? Just PERFECT !!!!

It would be so amazing if Tom would create a side comic about these three intrepid explorers! It could take place not long after humans arrived on the continent and give background on early human/keidran interactions. We might get to see why they don’t often get along and provide in general a great story to read.

Anonymous

Request for Tom, can we get a higher res copy of this image without the text at the bottom for backgrounds? Please.

Iago24

I second that! Short comics portraying the everyday lives of various Keidran cultures would be extremely fun to watch.

Something's really messing with my head with this image and I cannot for the life of me figure out if the tiger would be shorter or taller than the explorers if they were all standing at their full height. It's really bothering me.

Roughlandin

"Okay. So if we go this way for about another day, we'll reach my village. Are you two really sure you still want to go there?" "Considering it's where all of our supplies are being kept after they were stolen in that ambush at that... rather conveniently named pass? Yes." "I mean, I'd consider it more like gently, permanently borrowed in exchange for fair passage through Tiger lands, but sure. A word of warning, though; At the pace we're going, we're likely to arrive in the village right at the height of the Spring Sowing Festival." "Spring Sowing? Sounds like fun! What could be so bad about an agricultural festival?" "Agriculture is only a small part of it. It also marks the start of mating season. It's a fertility rite, and for guests, participation is traditionally... mandatory."

Elvenhunter84

Jesus, the tiger lady looks like she'd be like 8 feet tall when standing straight up

She kinda looks like Flora's mother maybe she is Flora's ancestor

Siri: getting directions to Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (I’m a Mac, and while Apple Maps are improving, direction wise, google is still currently marginally better, though, Apple is catching up fast.

DarthKeidran

So she’s about to enter heat you say. I’m sure those two will be fine. It’s not like anyone died from Snu-Snu enacted by a single individual, though if they enter that town…

DarthKeidran

I always love the color art Tom completes. They’re always so detailed and beautiful.

Panther

It begins always with explorers ; then armies comes later and claims the land for themselves . Finishes by destruction and slavery for anthros ...............

Customaera

Now to wait for more sketch requests of these three in the "Tiger Lands Chronicles", and hopefully in similar vein to the Snow Leopard Town and Alternate Future Therie & Daniels or even the Cat-Nora Saga.

Travis9x

Tigers are carnivorous predators. She's probably wearing the fur of an actual animal, not another keidran. Also notice the feathers around the shoulders of her cloak.

McClaw

I wonder which of these two will end up staying with the tigers? (Because didn't there used to be three until one stayed with the snow leopards?)

Anonymous

Oh my, imagine if she is, and is where Flora's "Human fascination" (shall we say) comes from?

Ordithus

The background <3 Good job with the humans! And she is gorgeous! One of your best yet.

Torbjörn Larsson

That is not considered a fair question I think (but I could be wrong) since it is the artist/suggestion mark. It is like asking da Vinci if he could paint a Mona Lisa without adding his name on (and then it would be anonymous and cheap).

Torbjörn Larsson

So ... much ... color ... / The regional heatwave has bleached everything else, too!

Torbjörn Larsson

My trouble is, how do you date a tiger Keidran; we know from Flora that they are *also* gouge-us and gorge-'em!? (Or at least, they prefer raw meat.) / "Things that Tom inspires me to think of."

Fire Flight

Reminds me of the Lewis and Clark expedition.

This was beautiful before the coloring. Now it is beyond beautiful.

Looks amazing!

Sweet goodness gracious Tom you knocked this out of the park! The attention to detail in every facet of this picture-the lighting, the humans, the tigress, the background-each and every one is dripping with personality and splendor. Excellent work dude!

Duster

She could be less clothed, Imo~

Lexio

Awesome! I love these looks into the past and other cultures. I wonder what the swirly crystal holders are? maby a symbol of high status?
