I suppose it makes sense for a young dragon to have sticky paw pads… after all, dragons usually live in mountainous areas so, before their wings are strong enough to allow them to fly, baby dragons have sticky paw pads to allow them to safely walk around the mountain slopes…

It's sad to say this, but I feel like Tom has lost his love for Twokinds. The main comic hasn't had a page in over a month. No single-page Christmas or April Fools comics in years. Not to mention the various delays this year. The 2023 Christmas art is final art from a patreon sketch, that in itself is not a problem. The problem is that this final art is extremely simplistic. The transcription of the last page, which is super simple to do, was simply "blah blah blah". No pronouncements about page delays. It seems like the only thing getting attention right now is Patreon. I love Twokinds, I love Tom's work. But Tom, if you're tired of the main comic, it's okay to take a vacation or put coimc officially on hiatus. But communicate before doing this. If you're tired of the Twokinds story and want to focus on other projects, go ahead! BUT COMMUNICATE THIS! If something is happening in your personal life and you don't feel comfortable continuing with twokinds. Speak. You don't need to go into any detail about the subject if you don't want to. But don't leave us in the dark. Don't give us the silent treatment.

i don't think he's lost his love of the comic, i just think that he's got a lot to think about, especially since i MIGHT have asked him a whole lot of questions recently about lore, particularly about things such as the rules of magic, technological levels of the various races, nerd stuff, and he might be trying to reassess how he is going to portray things like that in the world. he has said that a lot of lore will not be explicitly stated or shown, but there are plenty of other nerds like me who: A: really love the comic, and B: really REALLY love science.
