Nightcrawler is my favorite member of the X-Men as well. I wish more adaptations kept his fun side. I quite liked the version of him in X-Men: Apocalypse, it would be nice if they do a sequel and he gets more focus. But the film franchise has a pretty nasty habit of only focusing on a few characters. (Xavier, Magneto, Mystique and Wolverine)

No, Lindsay, there are no good Ultimate characters(except Miles, who's still only okay not great). All of the the Ultimate stuff seems to carry Mark Millar's not-so-secret-disdain for superheroes. Why did villains even exist in the Ultimate comics when the 'heroes' could out-bastard any villain with an arm tied behind their back?

Just out of curiosity, how did feel about the newer X-Men films: First class, future past, the Wolverine.

I really want to see Lindsey do disney's Hunchback( as part of LC obviously) but judging by the votes thus far doesn't seem likely

Gaby Dona

I actually really wanted her take into Quasimodo although I always think Lindsay has a thing for the Phantom

Rebecca Richards

Yay, Nightcrawler is my fav X-men too! <3 I'm impressed you managed to get to almost 20 minutes out of him though, he doesn't get to show up in a lot of the non-comics media and when he does he's often downplayed. Seriously though, you gotta admit that his "BAMF" is part of his appeal too.

Ultimates is the reason we have Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury in the movies. So kinda vaguely a good thing?

I vividly remember her tweets about how much she loved future past. She also liked the last wolverine movie where he's in Japan.... idk the rest.

I'm more of a Magneto guy, but 616 Magneto alone has more variations than adaptations of Magneto combined.

I've always been a big fan of Nightcrawler. I understand sometimes the religious angle is a bit overdone for Nightcrawler, though I've never had a problem with it (Chuck Austen ignorant pope scheme aside) but in part thats because there aren't very manner overtly religious superheroes in comics so when somebody wants to do something in that vein they almost have to use Nightcrawler because he's so high profile..well him and Daredevil. Which is weird of course but there you go. As such i've not minded that they upped his piety because they just don't have many popular characters they can do that with. Of course he's also got the whole nice guy outsider thing goin on, which is a relative rarity in a medium that more and more loves to lean on brooding loners. Plus he just looks cool, has a fun power and tries to get along with people, whats not to like? Glad you got to do this video though I would have liked a mention that Pryde of the Xmen ends with Nightcrawler barely surviving a noble sacrifice to save his friends, which is quite possibly what endeared me to the character in the first place.
