December Teaser - Loot tier WIPs (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Excited to reveal that the theme for the final month of the year is Death Knight. Enter the sanctum of a foreboding figure - a headless mastermind, who sees and speaks through winged beasts, and orchestrates plans that are yet to fully unfold upon the world.

- Inspired by the death and dark knights of WoW, FFxiv and pathfinder, we added a flavour of Odin to ascend this dead knight above the living - he finds omniscience through the use of his phoenixes to be his eyes and ears in the world, without even having to leave his throne.

- For the throne room itself, Ethan wanted a practicality to the coldness of it (as its a container of dead things), but not to strip it of luxuries. Our death knight is not adverse to the opulence of red carpets and rich drapes.

- Our creature is an icy, crystalline twist on the mythological fire bird, the phoenix. As the familiar of a Death Knight in a cold domain, it only made sense that they suited the environment.

The final artworks will be revealed tomorrow - and stay tuned as well for some Dragonflight themed specials. We'll be doing re-prints of some of our favourite dragon-themed pieces from previous years, I'm excited to see them return!
