“So precious that my rage was the only recourse.”

You settle into deep repose, calling on the cold mountain pilgrimage against her fire.
“But that was nothing! Nothing in the face of glen without hare, sea without pike and city without… mortal.”
The forest. It burned as lesson, one keenly known to a monk’s mind. Balance in all things.
Through the fire and rage life springs eternal. Creator? Destroyer? The middle path.

“Yes, I see it in you. The lesson was learnt. But not by all and thats why our fates must be sealed with a pact.”
