If an expansion like this does happen, one thing I hope that happens is an event where we are made aware of disturbances happening at the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. We head there and can see the portal active with a different look (think holy light effects, maybe can see AU Draenor on the other side but it's very hard to tell). And that's it, just a little teaser. This ideally would happen before they even announce the expansion. That would be super cool to see play out in game.
