Wow. Dad is dead and Light is somehow saved from that on his conscience. He was fully prepared to have to kill him too. Yikes.

And Ryuk was extending himself and being extra helpful, too! What was that about? What is your explanation of Ryuk's behavior here? Also, I want to know what you think about the way the dad went. Saved to go to heaven and not the nothing place, dying in a lie about his son. Best way to go?
