It's amazing how this show set this kid up to be the mean evil head strong character only to turn it on its head and have us pitying him. I realize this juxtaposition of "caring for demons" as Tanjiro is doing is what the writers are trying to make us do. ireally wonder if after all this, Tanjiro's empathy will be enough to understand Muzan's motives.

Speaking of Muzan's motives, we brought that up in this episode's discussion I think. What are your theories? Do you think he has a malicious or even--can we even imagine it-- an altruistic motive?
