Addressing Pecan (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

So the poll has ended and I just wanted to talk a little bit. I know some of you had some concerns about the “breaking” aspect of Pecan. Here’s how I see it.

I think we can all agree that the girls have had their personalities established over the years ( Frosting is relatively new, but I think we have a handle on her). I’m not looking to make another drooling, libido monster like Drizzle. She fills that role. But a lot of folks have expressed interest in seeing Pecan, at times, take on a more submissive role. I’m totally on board.

The only question is, should this be through two personalities, or Pecan just naturally warming up to being more submissive periodically.

Let me hear your thoughts. I don’t know if I’ll do another poll ( we’ve already decided that Pecan can remain a dom, while sometimes submitting ) but I’m just curious about what you think her state of mind should be.

Hey, I'm new but I like the idea of her warming up to taking on the additional role. Sort of the warmer side of these relationships and much less harsh. Pecan's a fighter, a tough master, but her giving herself freely seems to convey more strength than if she is merely broken. Just my two cents. Love your work and characters regardless.

I think two personalities works for her. Cause I dont see her as a switch. And it be fun to see her fight them off till they trigger sub side and then the change. And then when she changes back she gets to torment the crap out if them. Ohh the fun and evil we could have where she is begging for more till she is satisfied and then boom her dom side takes over and she gets them all back.

I think her gradually warming up to the idea works better for her, as a sudden mindbreak seems out of character for her. Sure, she’s incredibly resilient, and maybe unwilling go give up, and certainly a very reluctant switch. But I think maybe having her have her moments would be a great way to build her character up. After all, a proper top oughta know or bottoms through every now and then.

I like the idea of her having 2 personalities, like she being dominant until the girls make her change into a more submissive state. As if she hides the fact that she loves being submissive with her dominant attitude.

Warming up into the role will actually be better for emotional wise. She's always had a thing about power and being on the sub side from time to time will help remove such trauma's (referring to comic)

I think dual personalities is the best and only option. There is no way she would choose to be a sub of her own free will. It's just not in her nature, no matter what the other girls put her through.

I think it depends on how sudden/easily triggered the personality switch would be, and just how severe the change is. Like, you say she's not gonna be another drizzle, so what would the submissive personality be like? And would it trigger somewhat randomly, or when the threat of someone dominating her appears? I just think it would be easy to make it too over-the-top and feel unrealistic... or at least, as unrealistic as a group of fantasy races who just happen to be super-sexual lesbians can be.

Hmm. This might be more complicated than you're willing to do, but... how about both, one gradually progressing into the other? If you're interested in something longer term and more "character developmenty" you could have it that initially it manifests as a distinct alternate personality due to Pecan not willing to acknowledge the part of herself that likes being dominated. Then over time we could see Pecan grow more comfortable with that side of herself and eventually fully accept and embrace it, thus becoming more of a role she plays, slipping into and out of voluntarily, rather than an uncontrollable and unwanted alternate self. Or something. Admittedly that might be a bit complex for a fetish comic, but I think it would be pretty cool.

I'm thinking the idea of a split persona, one that takes over when the thought of being a sub comes to her mind.

Leaving my bias against "breaking" aside I do like the idea of her warming up to a submissive side. She's a tough gal but being dominant all the time must be tough...Frosting being so hard to punish must be getting to her after all! While generally remaining a domme her finding that once in a while its relaxing to give up control and let someone else do the hard work seems more like a natural evolution and character growth than her having an on/off switch (pun not intended!)

personally i love the idea of a submissive personality that while not always in control, is always actively trying to get pecan into ticklish situations

GhostTrain has a good point. She can have two personalities, she'd still like dominating the girls, and her other self love being dominated, but over time Pecan grows more comfortable into accepting her Dom side with all her friends helping her, especially Drizzle, Drizzle can take somewhat of a role of a mentor when it come to helping Pecan accept her Dom side helping her understand that there's nothing wrong with being a sub from time to time.
