Friends, the fan-favorites channel over on our Discord is live and ready for your submissions for the upcoming September episode of Fan Favorites!

This Month’s Theme: Our Favorite Epic Songs

Throughout our Fan Favorites series, I’ve put length restrictions on our submissions so that I can get to as many songs as possible in each episode. This time, we’re flipping the script and asking you what your favorite EPIC SONGS are. I’m looking for longer pieces of prog, rock, metal, and jazz fusion (live or in the studio) that you want to see me review. Minimum song length is 10 minutes…maximum is 30 minutes!

Here’s the Stipulations:

All submissions must be made on the fan-favorites channel on The Daily Doug Discord. Suggestions listed in comments here on Patreon will NOT be considered.

• The submission needs to be a publicly available YouTube video

• Avoid songs previously covered on the channel or Patreon

• The song should be between 10 and 30 minutes in length.

• No multiple-song combinations or medleys.

• Each member of Helvering’s Army is allotted one submission per month in this series.

Please see the StickyDoug post (which is pinned at the bottom of the fan-favorites channel on Discord) for instructions on how to post your submission.

You can discuss suggestions for the Fan Favorites series in the recommend-discuss channel on Discord.

This Month’s Timetable:

• Discord Submissions Start: Tuesday, September 5

• Discord Submissions End: Tuesday, September 19

• Patreon Poll Starts: Wednesday, September 20

• Patreon Poll Ends: Saturday, September 23

• Fan Favorites Video Release: Late September

Please let us know if you have any questions about Fan Favorites, or need any assistance.

Excited to see and hear everyone’s submissions for this EPIC Fan Favorites episode!

Gaza by Marillion would be a great track , especially live. Marillion would have to be the best live act going around

How about Fountains of Lamneth by Rush, from the Caress of Steel album?
