I really enjoyed recording this month's Fan Favorites video. The music is all so good, representing a variety of styles and genres. Thanks again to the community for your participation and your voting.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, this month's theme was (broadly) on music by women. The artists and songs include:

- Donna Summer (State of Independence)
- Linda Ronstadt (Blue Bayou)
- Roberta Flack (The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face)
- Tori Amos (Flying Dutchman)
- Janis Joplin (Kozmic Blues)
- Alanis Morissette (Uninvited)
- Laurie Anderson (Excellent Birds)
- Dolly Parton (9 to 5)
- Fairport Convention (Who Knows Where The Time Goes?)

Thanks a lot. I enjoyed the whole video. For what it's worth, Lasher wasn't the only one who suggested that Fairport/Sandy song. I also suggested it on the Discord and got some upvotes. But I am just glad you finally heard the song and liked it.

Great pick Megan!

Loved the video. Especially the Fairport Convention inclusion. Sandy Denny rocks.

A diverse and uniformly excellent selection, and a great video

One of the best Fan Favorites so far! To cap it off with Sandy Denny and Fairport Convention was a thrill for me. I have been a fan of Sandy and Richard Thompson since 1970. I am so glad they not only broke through but topped the list!

So glad Tori finally made the channel. Highly recommend seeing her live! She's on tour in Europe now, and plays in the States in June & July. Every night is a different setlist - every show completely unique (I'll be doing 11 shows this tour).

I think it's been mentioned elsewhere that Sandy Denny sang on Led Zeppelin IV's 'Battle for Evermore'. Who Knows Where The Time Goes is just wonderful. Thank You. M

Donna Summer - neither the singer nor the song is for me. Linda Ronstadt - excellent delivery. Roberta Flack - a classic, acknowledged. Tori Amos - that cracking warble can undermine the strength of the melody for me. Janis Joplin's voice has never appealed to me, yet Maggie Bell's does. Alanis Morrissette - a fine song skilfully presented, especially as a component of a film soundtrack. Laurie Anderson - more than a shade of Talking Heads too, hypnotic without travelling very far. Dolly Parton - an agitprop song with style, not merely a soundtrack weapon. Fairport Convention - of another place and time, sublime. Part of the electrification of English folk music that so irked the traditionalists but when this is the result...
