POLL: Fan Favorites (Black History Month) (Patreon)

This month, we're celebrating Black History month. We first solicited suggestions from a variety of genres over on the discord server. The 21 options that are included here are the most up-voted suggestions that we received.

Please vote for up to 6 that you think should be included in our video.

(If I end up deciding to include any of these suggestions on the YouTube channel this month, I'll omit it in the final tabulations here.)

This poll is active through Sunday evening, and I plan to record the episode sometime next week.

If you're interested, there are music club listening events (including more songs from black artists) happening this coming Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon on the discord server. Cheers!

I do hope Sinnerman makes it to the final list. I think it will be fun for Doug. Whether he's reacting to it for the first or for the umpteenth time, it probably won't make much difference, he'll enjoy the POWER!!!

While there's a chance it may be blocked on the channel, I do want to point out that Dr. Doug intends to put Purple Rain on the channel this Friday. He said if he does use some of the top FF poll vote getters on the channel, he'll retabulate the results. Does that mean the current 60 votes for Purple Rain won't count towards anything? And if so, do those who voted for Purple Rain want to possibly consider putting their votes elsewhere, so all of their votes are counted? I'll admit, I'm still hoping Strange Fruit and Living For The City make the channel. But until Dr. Doug announces them as doing so, like he did with Purple Rain, those two have my poll vote for sure.

UPDATE: I recorded Voodoo Child (Slight Return) for Thursday's YT episode, and it has been blocked. I'm planning to upload it to Patreon and release it here. SO...I won't be including Voodoo Child in the FF video. :)

So, those who currently voted for Voodoo Child and Purple Rain could come back and switch their votes from those two to something else before the poll closes if they wish, since Voodoo Child will not be part of Fan Favorites and Purple Rain won't either, regardless of if it appears on the channel or potentially as a Patreon reaction due to being blocked?
