An album full of emotion, real musical depth and great playing. For me this is Steven’s best album to date and a truly profound experience every time. Random fact: the chorister on Routine is former UK prime minister Tony Blair’s son.

If you have the possibility to listen to this album on blu-ray! It’s even more emotional…with the Video and in Surround.. 👌🔥🔥🔥 I’ve seen twice this show live on the same weekend. In Montreal!! Amazing Steven Wilson! Fantastic Emotional Shows And Sounds!!!

Arpeggio Blues

That was delicious.. wasn't it.. make sure you go and see him perform, as well as Porcupine Tree.. I wanted to go to SF to see PT, but the following night I have Iron Maiden in Seattle.. but I heard PT is touring the east coast.. DON'T MISS them.. ;!!

Something I think you misinterpreted. "But I'm feeling kind of drowsy now. So I'll finish this tomorrow." And that's the cruel twist. Tomorrow never came. She never finished the letter. She lay down, and she died, alone. These were the last things she thought about before her life ended. She never progressed beyond that moment.

Steven is simply a genius...he can pull you into his musical journey with such ease...awesome.

Neale Brassell

I know this borders on blasphemy for a modern prog fanatic, but I just can't get into Porcupine Tree. Ergo, I never really paid any attention to Steven Wilson's solo stuff. Yikes, big mistake... this is AWESOME!

In Absentia or Deadwing (or both - make it the first full consecutive album review)
