We haven't had any Deep Purple yet, how about ‘Made in Newcastle 2001’

Now that the music world has lost a pioneer of electronic music RIP Klaus Schultze would you be able to squeeze something into the schedule? Personnel favourite is Bayreuth Return from Timewind but it's a little long. But then many of his works are longer. more recent suggestion Lisa Gerrard/Klaus Schulze - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7_rJG5DlGU start at 35 or even 45 minutes in. May be best for a weird / woman wednesday

Hi Doug...would love you to look at some ELO (to my recollection, they have not been reacted to yet). My request would be the entire TIME album. Most people will be familiar with Out of the Blue (as many major singles off that album were world wide hits. TIME is more of a concept album really, and very classy.

Les Mable

Damn! I missed that in the news (but I was sick with Covid that week...). RIP indeed! Timewind is excellent, but he created so many other good albums to choose from. I hope that he and Edgar Froese are having a great party somewhere..

Hi Doug... New member, You sucked me in with the Zappa shows. Great Stuff! A question: Why did you not use the last reunion of Pick Floyd's full lineup at the 2005 Live Aid concert for your Comfortably Numb deep dive? All three songs could use a show to themselves in my humble opinion. Looking forward to the member perks. Love when you use fingers to indicate the chords and talk about modes. I'm and old fart but I'm never giving up on how to get the music out of my head and on paper. Understanding modes is the next step for me. Thanks! (I love my DGX piano was happy to see you even considered using it!)

This is my very first Patreon subscription. I was moved to join after your analysis of Genesis' Duke Suite. I am a huge fan of Genesis but this album was always a mystery to me, THANK YOU for explaining it! Heading over to the Moving Pictures analysis.

Hi all. I've been following Doug on YouTube for a while now, so I thought, now I have a new job, I should get more involved and give my support.

Hi, I got here through a very convoluted journey! Somewhere along it I found some rappers reacting to Black Sabbath (!) then Pink Floyd etc That was fun and interesting. Then I saw Doug reacting to Focus. I feel very lucky to have grown up in Europe through the '60's and '70's, our access to such diverse music is astounding. It made me wonder if Doug had had ever seen any of the Eurovision Song Contest!!! I am pretty sure that would amaze him.

Hi All, followed Doug for awhile now on YouTube and have been pestering for King Crimson. Unbeknownst to me, reacting to Crimson is nigh on impossible over on YouTube. So happy to find them here. The discipline video was really eye opening for me. Brilliant video. Keen to see more of the "score" videos

Wondering when you're going to do an episode with the greatest musician of them all. John McLaughlin either Mahavishnu Orchestra with Cobham Birds of Fire album, or with Narada Michael Walden Visions of the Emerald Beyond in particular Eternities Breath version 1 and 2

Arrow2theACL

In Doug's Fan Favorites video in March did reacted to Smile of the Beyond by Mahishnu Orchestra w/Gayle Moran.

William Drum Marcus

That's great but that's still not the same as eternity's breath one and two and birds of fire with Billy Cobham I'm hoping he does a regular one of his regular videos with Mahavishnu or as an alternative John McLaughlin Belo horizonte
