-Dungeon-

Broly awoke in the dimly-lit depths of a dungeon, surrounded by cold stone walls and chained to the wall by his wrists. He wasn’t worried, but he was confused on how he ended up here. His massive frame towering over the pale-skinned, purple haired woman who just a few seconds ago extended an offer that honestly got him curious.

Yet before he could give his answer, a spear nearly shattered the wall next to him where Ultear was but a second ago.

Looking around, he saw Erza, the girl showing a deep frown, glaring at the wizard by his side. The latter displaying no sign of fear or even anger — she just met the redhead's glare with an amused face.

"I do believe you're committing a crime against the Magic Council, Erza Scarlet." Her tone remained as sultry as before but with a hint of impatience. "You do know that as a member of the Council, I have the authority to hold Fairy Tail accountable for your actions, right?"

"You were about to take him away from us."

Ultear's chuckle echoed through the chamber. "Take him? You are mistaken here, so I am merely presenting him with the option of a better outcome." Said the sly, cunning wizard.

"You don't know him." Erza said with gritted teeth.

Ultear sashayed closer. Her voice dripped with honey. "Oh, but I do. Out of everyone, I understand him the most. You and your guild just think you do, assuming a truth that isn’t even close to facts. What confuses me is your hostility, I have done nothing wrong — this is just me being helpful." Broly's eyes narrowed, his instincts telling him to be wary. From the beginning, something didn't feel right about this woman, he could tell she reeked of hidden motives.

This was followed by the familiar feeling he kept getting from her. Though no matter how much he tried, for the life of him he couldn't figure out when or where they could have met. It certainly couldn't have been from Vampa or on Earth, and he didn't recall there being any kids with Ur's face in the Tower of Heaven.

The fact that she hinted about knowing about the power he kept hidden away triggered all the alarms in his head. He was comfortable with Erza knowing about his berserk state, but even Lucy was ignorant about it.

"Why should any of us trust you?" Erza tone meanwhile kept getting colder, her eyes growing even colder as she studied the woman before her. "Ultear, you won't trick Broly with your manipulations, I won't let you."

Ultear smirked, undeterred by Erza's words. "Oh, Erza, you’re so naive. You’ve no idea about the darker side of the world. But tell me, can you truly offer Broly what he needs? The strength to control his power, to be understood?"

Erza stepped forward, her voice firm and unwavering. "Broly needs peace, not manipulation. He needs a place where trust and camaraderie thrive, not one full of the schemes and hidden agendas of the Magic Council. Fairy Tail will provide that for him."

Broly's gaze shifted between Ultear and Erza, his mind putting aside the mystery of Ultear's origin and now focusing on the two opposing forces. The atmosphere kept getting tense, both sides refusing to back out, and ready to use violence if necessary — especially in Erza's case as her hands flashed with light as she summoned a blade and grasped for it tight. "The charges on Broly are false and cannot be used to imprison him here. Wakaba, Macao, Natsu and Lucy all agreed that they were just as responsible for the incident so the punishment should be shared by everyone."

Ultear's smirk widened, "We can't be so sure of that can we? That decision is up to us and not you. Unless you don't want your guild to face more sanctions, I recommend you leave and I'll overlook this small incide—"

Their tension continued to escalate, with a possible conflict arising at any moment. But before things could spiral further out of control, the ground beneath them began to tremble, and both girls paused to look around in confusion.

Suddenly, the earth split apart, and a massive figure burst forth, causing shock to ripple through their faces. Broly stepped forward, his towering presence casting an intimidating shadow over the arguing girls. Ultear flinched, even if this power felt completely different from the past raging sun, there was still something there hidden deep beneath him. The raging monster that she unleashed that day had not disappeared like she feared.

"Enough," Broly took a step forward, his intense gaze landing on Ultear. "Who are you to decide what's best for me?"

Truthfully, he was getting tired of the way she spoke about him as if she understood everything. The way she threatened Erza and Fairy Tail did not sit well with him at all. He preferred to trust his gut feelings rather than her words and false promises. "Who are you to make such a decision on my part?"

Erza swallowed hard, her earlier anger fading away under Broly's changed presence. Seeing the usually smiling giant's smile replaced with a heavy frown unnerved her. This was followed by a smothering sensation weighing down upon her shoulders, and the same could be said for the purple-haired woman who managed to keep a straight face whilst standing the closest to him.

"Are you sure about that? You may regret your decision in the future, you know? This is an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime, actually." She continued to insist. "I have connections that can help you far better than a guild like Fairy Tail."

Instead of answering her, Broly walked past and joined Erza's side — his answer clear. "Let's go back, Lucy and the others are going to be worried. I hope you don't mind me leaving, right?" He asked without looking back, using what small vestiges of politeness he could muster.

To his surprise, she didn't grow angered or pushed on as he expected. Rather, he heard a sigh of frustration, as if she realized that her efforts were in vain. "Fine. You win this time. This was just me handing out an olive branch and nothing else, the choice was always yours and I have no desire to cause any unnecessary discord between us. After all, we are allies." With a flick of her wrist, she left him with those words, opening the door for both of them to walk out.

"...In the end, I failed again." She said, wondering if in her haste to acquire the Saiyan's power she ended up creating more obstacles before her. "I approached him far too early, he still sees hope in Fairy Tail and hasn't reached his limit yet."

Truth be told, she was getting tired of dealing with these old geezers for so long, "If only I had a puppet to take my place, it would have made everything less troublesome. Perhaps I should have Meredy join me as well."

Walking back to the main hall, she encountered the rest of the Council Members chatting between themselves. Self-absorbed fools all of them, sitting on their false thrones, pushing pen on paper for hours on end, wallowing in the illusion of sovereignty upon the kingdom they oversee. 'I wish I could just kill them here and be done with this.'

The wisp of murderous intent vanished when an old man approached her.

"Ultear, my dear, you seem to be in a rather sour mood today. Is something bothering you?" It was one of the few people who kept approaching and pestering her for mindless conversation, Yajima. Out of everyone, she believed he was the most annoying to deal with.

She forced a smile, "Oh, it's nothing, Yajima-san. Just a minor inconvenience, really. Nothing worth discussing."

The man for some reason had to act all concerned. "You know, Ultear, we've known each other for quite some time now. We've been through thick and thin together. If there's something bothering you, you can always talk to me. I'm here to listen."

The girl resisted the urge to scoff or burst out laughing. Through thick and thin? They barely knew each other and she’d only known him for two years top — the dirty old pervert just wanted to hang out with her for obvious reasons.

Not that she hadn't taken advantage of it to cement herself as a council member while siphoning some crucial information out of them.

"It's really not that big of a deal, Yajima-san. These are just some personal issues I'm dealing with. I'd rather not burden you with them. This coupled with today's matter has made me a bit of a scatterbrain."

"You're an important part of our Council. Are you perhaps dissatisfied with the talk you had with the Fairy Tail wizard?"

Her eyes widened, had she been spied on?

"Oh don't worry about me spying on you, who else would have visited the cells? Not to mention Makarov just sent a message to look out for some of the guild members on their way, attempting to 'free' the young man. I can see that they made it here faster than I imagined those kids would."

She looked away, voice barely above a whisper, "I appreciate your concern, Yajima-san, but I'd rather not dwell on this matter right now — it has been dealt with accordingly already, so let's talk about something else, shall we? "

Seeing her response, the old man sighed before joining the others to resume a meeting the Magic Council held amongst its members, discussing matters of great importance. Just like before, the room was filled with council members in formal attire and engrossed with their discussion.

'Urgh, another hour wasting my time with mindless chatter. I should just leave a Thought Projec—'

Crash!

Suddenly, a loud crash was heard as the walls at the back of the room crumbled, showering debris everywhere and bringing forth shock onto the faces of everyone present — including Ultear.

"What in the name of all magic is happening?!" Shouted Org, being the first to react.

Michello and Belno both prepared their magic in case of an enemy attack. "Who would dare attack the council of all places? Have the dark guilds united and launched a suicide attack!?"

"Is it an attack? Quick, protect the council members!"

"Call the Rune knights!"

As the dust settled, everyone was dumbfounded to find the identity of the intruder. Elfman Strauss, a member of Fairy Tail, emerged from the wreckage. His shirt, missing, revealing his chiseled chest and bulging muscles. A fluffy winter coat was attached around his waist and for some reason, every single person's attention went to his dyed, spiked-up hair that had yet to dry, the dye itself dripping down his face. He stood in an overly exaggerated heroic pose, flexing his arms while showing off what looked like a constipated face.

"I-I-I am the manly wizard, Broly, and I have come to unleash my power upon you weaklings! Destroyer of mountains and an important member of Fairy Tail!" He showed a badly drawn guild mark on the back of his hand while forgetting that the original one was still visible on his neck. "ARREST ME IF YOU ARE MANLY ENOUGH!!!"

The council members stared at Elfman in a mix of confusion and incredulity. The seriousness of the situation is momentarily forgotten as they try to process the absurdity of the situation.

Ultear who was tense the entire time just looked at the man with a deadpan face. Was he serious? If this was any other time then she would have laughed, but now, the only thing that came to her was a creeping headache.

"Is that... Elfman Strauss?" Yajima asked.

Michello whispered back, "It... it certainly looks like him, but… who is he pretending to be?"

"Should we arrest him as well?"

"I don't know…"

"He literally broke our wall, so yes!"

Elfman continued to flex his muscles, oblivious to the confused council members. Though it didn't take long for him to figure out that something was wrong here. Maybe his performance wasn't good enough, given Broly wasn't one to scream a lot.

'Weird, Natsu said screaming would work… and where is he?'

"I feel like I'm forgetting something." Erza muttered while walking back to the guild in the middle of the night next to the Saiyan. "But I can’t put my finger on it."

Unbeknownst to Ultear, her encounter with Broly and Erza had left a lingering impact on the latter's mind. As she walked alongside him through the dimly lit streets, thoughts occupied with the strange woman's words and her attempts to sway Broly. The way she claimed to understand him, even with her hidden motives, still gnawed at the redhead.

Broly noticed the contemplative expression on the girl's face and gently placed a hand on her head. "Are you alright? That woman, Ultear, seemed to get under your skin."

Erza glanced down at the Saiyan, his large hand gently patting her head. "It's just... I can't shake the feeling that she knows more about me than she let on. Whilst obviously lying to us for unknown reasons."

"I wouldn't have accepted her offer if that's what you're worried about." He said confidently. "Aquarius would have been very angry at me if I abandoned Lucy. She doesn't say it but I know she really cares about her, like a big sister. Mirajane, Natsu, Cana and everyone in the guild would have been disappointed in me."

"Glad to hear that."

A soft smile formed on Broly's face as he looked into Erza's determined eyes. "You're right, Erza. I'm grateful to have found a place where I belong. With you all."

In the end, he was happy to see that the small matter was resolved peacefully back there, he was prepared for a conflict between the girls which he would have stopped them regardless — preferably avoiding someone to get hurt here.

"I wonder how Lucy is doing. She and Cana went out this morning to search for a new place to live, perhaps they already found one?"

"I'm not sure, I was too lost in my thoughts back then to notice anything."

"I see, but Erza, why did you come here initially? It couldn't have been because of Ultear for you didn't even know she'd try to persuade me of anything. Master Makarov even told me that this was just a small matter and I would be set free soon." He asked, feeling curious given he always had the impression that Erza always knew how to stay composed and make the right decision.

Her body jumped as she suddenly recalled something. "Ah, I forgot about those two!"

"Those two?"

Before he could ask what she meant by that, as if on cue, Broly's ears picked up the sound of a pained moan nearby. His nose picking two scents of perfume and… ash?

"What the," he didn't have to wait long before getting his answer, nothing in his life prepared him from the sight before him.

"Uuuuurgh…" A beaten black and blue Natsu twitching on the floor, barely holding onto consciousness with what looked like a terrified Happy sitting at the corner, acting as if he'd encountered the scariest entity in his life.

But that wasn't what caught Broly's attention, rather, he focused the clothes on Natsu. A messy blonde hair wig, white blue sleeveless shirt, blue skirt and giant boots.

"Erza…"

"Yes?"

"Why is Natsu wearing Lucy's clothes and a blonde wig?" He didn't need to ask who beat him up, as the large fist imprint on his face could only be delivered by a single person.

"They were trying to break you out. They planned to sneak inside the Council building, falsely attacking one of the Council Members and taking you out when everyone's distracted. Truly, what a shameful act, how could they be so irresponsible and stupid?"

Broly looked at Erza who perfectly described what she had personally done just a few minutes ago.

"I guess you came here to stop them." He stated, not seeing anything wrong with her logic or just didn’t care, "So where is Elfman then?"

"Uh," She slowly turned around, looking back at the rising smoke from the Council building before signing exasperatedly, placing a hand on her face in exasperation. "I was too late."

{Break}

Inside their cozy new apartment in Magnolia, Cana and Lucy sat on the couch, worried expressions mirrored on their faces. Broly had recently been arrested by the Magic Council, and the two Fairy Tail mages couldn't help but wonder when he would return.

Cana, ever the perceptive one, noticed Lucy's melancholic mood. She reached over and patted her friend's shoulder gently. "Hey, Lu-chan, don’t worry too much about Broly, he’ll be fine. Besides, you've been lost in thought all day. We can go have a drink with Mira-chan later to get our minds off it for a while, what do you say?" Perhaps this would be enough to distract the girl for a bit as well as herself.

Lucy sighed and looked up at Cana. "You know the answer to that, I can't help but worry about Broly. I mean, it wasn't his fault, he was just trying to protect us from those Vulcans."

Cana nodded understandingly. "I know how you feel, but worrying won't change anything. We have to believe that he'll be back soon, and until then, we need to keep our spirits up."

Just as Cana finished speaking, her eyes fell on a crumpled piece of paper that had onto the coffee table — remembering that a certain salmoned haired Dragon Slayer's cat picked up. She took it, curiosity piqued, and unfolded it carefully. It was a quest request, and the reward listed at the bottom caught her attention.

'This probably is a bad idea, no, it definitely is a bad idea. Thank god I caught him before he dragged Lucy into that mess. Still, quite odd for a quest to have such a high award, those are usually for S-class wizards.' As further thought about it, a wary feeling came over her. "Don't tell me…"

"What you got there?" Lucy asked, looking over the paper Cana held. Instantly, her eyes widened as she snatched the paper straight from the brunette. "G-G-Golden key!?" Unlike silver keys which were commonly found in stores, Golden keys were an expectation as they all had a single copy.

"Oh right, you're a Celestial Wizard." Cana said, understanding her friend's reaction and laughed awkwardly at the blonde's greed filled eyes. "Happy must have been up to something sneaky. It's a quest with a pretty hefty reward. Unfortunately, from the looks of it, only an S-class wizard can accept such a thing."

"What!?" Lucy cried at the unfairness, she learned about the S-class wizards from her magazines along with the trials from Mirajane, so it obviously meant that the quest was dangerous… but the rewards were too good to ignore! "Wait! What if we have an S-class wizard help us with this quest?"

Cana scoffed while taking a large gulp of ale from the tankard. "Good luck finding one."

"Isn't Mirajane one?"

The card wizard sighed, "While it's true she is one of the youngest and gifted wizards in Fairy Tail, she no longer goes on quest, so better not bother her." From the way she Cana spoke, it was clear to Lucy that there was some history behind that reason — so listening to her advice, it would be best to think of someone else.

"I've read about other wizards, oh! What about Laxus from the Thunder God Tribe?"

"Ha! You're funny, you'll be lucky if he's even here in the first place. That jerk is bad news, at least… it's better if you stayed away from him as a newbie. Even if he was here, there is no way he would have agreed to it without insulting and bad mouthing you in front of the whole guild."

Yikes, Lucy wasn't expecting this kind of person in Fairy Tail. From her experience, everyone was kind and caring, treating her like a long time friend more than a stranger.

Was there another S-class wizard she was missing?

"Hmmm, I can't just give up this quest… I might lose to key to someone else." A dilemma she had no solutions to,

The door to the apartment opened, both girls looking over to find Erza and Broly having returned. The Saiyan yawned, having barely slept the entire way back after Erza returned to pick up an embarrassed and frightened Elfman who nearly got locked up facing real charges… Thankfully the old man named Yajima forgived his actions — much to the dismay of the Council. But they got their revenge by sending another bill to Makarov, much to his dismay.

"You came back!" As he was watching with wonder at the new apartment he would live in, Broly heard the sound of Lucy and Cana's relieved voice. He greeted them with a wave, glad to see them again after his encounter with that woman. At least here, he felt at ease and didn't feel unsafe.

"Welcome home, big guy! We're glad you're here." Cana slapped his back, offering him a mug of beer which he accepted. Not that he would get drunk from this, but he still liked the taste of anything that wasn't the inside goo of the creatures in Vampa. "Glad to see those geezers didn't keep you there for long."

"They were about to," the big person sitting in the middle specifically seemed to harbor some anger towards him and the guild.

Still, he was glad to be back.

"What is this?" Unfortunately, Erza did not seem to share their joyous mood, instead, her squinting eyes intently watching the quest on the table. Both Cana and Lucy froze, their faces going pale as the redhead picked up the quest sheet before turning her attention to them.

"Explain."

.

.

.

"No, I'm not taking the quest." Erza said instantly after hearing how Happy somehow managed to steal a quest sheet from the second floor and left it here before going with Natsu and Elfman.

She said firmly, "Lucy, especially you, Cana, you know the risks involved with S-class quests. They're not to be taken lightly. The danger could be overwhelming, and I don't want either of you to get hurt. And you shouldn't even think about going on such quests whether you're accompanied with an S-class wizard or not. If you had gone to the island, then the Master could have even been kicked out of the guild for negligence, that's why you need to be very careful, Lucy."

"Yes ma'am!" Lucy, too afraid to go against one of the strongest wizards in Fairy Tail, answered instantly, a few seconds away from slamming her forehead to the ground and asking for an apology.

"Ah come on, Erza~! Just this once, for our sake? Golden keys are not something anyone can come across so easily. Heck, this is the first time I saw a reward that has a key as a reward and I've been I'm Fairy Tail for years. This might be fate trying to hint something you know?"

"Since when have you been a fate believer?" Erza asked skeptically, wondering if the brunette was completely drunk already.

Cana answered her question by showing the redhead a small collection of tarot cards.

"Oh right… Still, it's too dangerous." She continued to insist. "The smallest mistake can be costly and not to mention the reputation this island has, having earned the title of ‘Demon Island’!"

Both girls couldn't respond, as they knew she was correct. Lucy shivered hearing that name, island of demons? It wasn't scary enough then she didn't know what was. Still, she made a promise to become a wizard as great as her mother. Having also given her word to Grammy that she'd become an accomplished wizard when they would meet again. It was clear to her that the green haired girl possessed far more talent than herself. If she lagged behind, then it was guaranteed that her friend would be far ahead in the future.

'Should I wait for the trials? The date is still far away and the likelihood of someone getting the key before me is high. If I'm lucky then it could be someone from the guild, I can try to propose a trade or buy it off when I'll have enough money. But if it's a wizard from another guild…'

Lucy knew that with Broly here, he could secretly take her to the island by flying over and be done with the quest as soon as possible. But that thought instantly got erased from her mind as it could drag him into a load of problems because of her greediness.

"I think we should go." Broly said calmly, breaking the silence within the group.

"Huh!?"

Everyone around the table, having Erza look at him, astonished by his words.

"Now before you say anything, I would like to add my reasons first." He mentioned, having Erza reluctantly stay quiet and garner everyone's attention. "First, the key is the main reason. Golden Keys are rare to begin with and no wizard can just let go of them so easily. So if someone else got to it first, then there is a very good chance for Lucy to never get it or it'll be a major mess. Second, we can visit the island first instead of going there formally on a quest."

Cana's face brightened while Erza looked contemplatively at the ceiling. Both having understood his words but leaving Lucy completely lost in Broly’s explanation.

"Eh?" She looked at him with confused eyes.

"Cana, does the rule tell you that members of the guild can't visit an area where there are active quests requested?"

Setting her barrel of booze on the floor, she scratched her cheeks while pondering for a few seconds. "I mean, I think nothing exists against that as far as I know. But there is a problem, to get the reward in the first place, we need to get registered by Mira and have her add to the record our names. Even if we 'accidentally' end up helping out, the client is not obligated to pay at all, in fact, he's not allowed to pay up the specific reward stated in the paper with the rules set up by the Council — he could get in a lot of trouble and be banned from posting anymore quests."

Erza nodded, having similar thoughts.

"Those are the rules, even if you go there just to 'visit', you won't exactly get the key."

"I see," he acknowledged that piece of information, but it didn't deter him. "This is my suggestion. We go there, talk to the villagers about the details of the quest and you can assess the general situation yourself, Erza. If it's not that dangerous, then we can accept the quest and we can be done with it. If it's too dangerous, then we'll return and think of another solution. What do you say?"

"That… might not work." Cana was the one to admit. "Just to reach the island it'll take a day or two, taking a look around, coming back and going back again could easily take a week or two. I'm afraid some other wizard might arrive and accept the quest before we can."

"Fortunately for that, I have a solution."  Broly grinned, since Lucy already knew about his real abilities along with Erza who he trusted with everything and Cana proved to be a trustworthy individual. "We'll just fly there and back."

"...The fuck?"

-Galuna Island-

In the middle of the night, a certain fisherman with a large prominent mustache sailed on his boat while whistling to keep himself distracted from the silent sea. Those working at the dock knew him as Bobo, a resident of Galuna Island. The middle aged fisherman rowed his small boat near the coast of the infamous island of demons. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a radiant glow that illuminated the darkness around him. Weary and burdened, Bobo gazed at the celestial body, hoping for a moment of respite.

"Hah, Galuna Island... What a mess. I hope we can find a solution soon."

The knife wound on his body still stung despite having fully healed, an incident he had long since forgiven his ignorant father. Now having little to no choice but to watch his village from a distance as the people within continued to see their memories worsen from an unknown effect.

"I need to take a walk, staying on the boat just brings back those moments stronger than ever before."

Deciding to take a break from his thoughts, Bobo steered his boat toward an empty beach where there would be no villagers. The gentle waves guided him to the shore, where he carefully docked his boat next to a large rock. Stepping onto the sand, he took a deep breath, feeling the cool ocean breeze against his face.

Stretching his limbs, he whispered to himself, "A walk will do me good. Clear my mind a bit."

He strolled along the beach for a few minutes, the nostalgic soft crunch of sand beneath his feet providing a soothing rhythm. But he was immediately pulled away from his old memories while venturing further. There he spotted a figure in the distance. A young man with long shaggy blue hair, adorned with intricate tribal tattoos, sits alone near a campfire. Wearing no upper clothing which showcased  a necklace of red dragon claws around his neck, a sash around his waist and a tattered cloth around his neck.

Walking closer, he spotted the individual wearing a gold ring on his left arm and baggy pants that were decorated the same as the former article of clothing. The aroma of cooked meat wafts through the air, enticing Bobo's senses.

The man sat all alone by himself next to a campfire chowing down on a piece of fish.

'A mainlander? But wait… how could he have gotten into the island if I don't remember bringing anyone here?' The idea that this person before him could be a powerful wizard did register in his mind — further exciting the fisherman as finally someone came to help his family from the unknown curse afflicting them. "But I don't know which guild he's from, there are so many tattoos on his body that I can't decipher anything… might be someone from Blue Pegasus with that color scheme. "

In the end, he approached with a friendly smile.

"Hey there! Mind if I join you? Looks like you're enjoying a good meal."

The blue-haired man, his face partially concealed in shadows, doesn't respond. Bobo waited momentarily, hoping for some acknowledgment, but the stranger remained silent, focusing solely on devouring the meat.

But that didn't discourage him!

"I said, do you mind if I join you? I could use some company. It's a lovely night to make a new friend, don't you think so, wizard?" He raised the volume of his voice, expecting that the person mustn't have noticed it in the beginning. "Are you here for the quest perchance? Must stay careful around her, it's called island of demons for a reason,"

"..."

He brought his face closer to the flame, hoping to create a more dramatic scenario.

"They say whenever the full moon is out, you'll see them appear all around you. But don't mess with them, they're crazy strong. Though just by looking at you, it's clear you're a formidable wizard, though if you don't mind me asking, which guild are you from? You look like someone from Pegasus, but I've heard that Salamander likes to travel with little clothing on his chest."

"..."

He continued to talk for the next hour, refusing to believe this man was going to succeed at ignoring him.

The dark blue-haired man lets out an exasperated sigh, his piercing eyes glancing up to meet Bobo's for a fleeting second. Bobo senses an air of annoyance surrounding the stranger, but he's undeterred.

"C-Come on, don't be so cold. We're all facing the same troubles here on Galuna Island. Maybe we can help each other out. I can provide you with any details you may ever de—" Crash!

Out of nowhere, with lightning speed, the blue-haired man's arm shot up, releasing an immense shockwave that engulfed Bobo — turning the latter's upper body into a bloody mist within a millisecond. The force of the blast shattered a large portion of the beach, shaking the whole island itself, tearing through the sand and sending debris flying in all directions.

Achnologia watched with disinterest as the still standing legs fell to the floor one after the other. Having turned into a demonic form and leaking blue blood before it went drifting onto the sand with a single gesture from him. The devastation evident as a part of the beach now lied in ruins.

"I don't like annoying insects bothering my meal."

His voice carried a chilling indifference, devoid of any remorse or emotion. With those words, he turned away from the ashes of Bobo, leaving behind a scene of tragedy and destruction. The dragon's gaze turned to the sky, more specifically the moon shining an eerie glow upon the island. But to him, it was more of a minor annoyance than anything else.

"Pathetic," there was no need to waste his time with these bugs, they didn't deserve his attention. Walking up to the side of a cliff, a single punch created enough force to smash a small cave where he sat down after finishing his meal. Traveling for so many days in search of that single individual did tire him somewhat, so he allowed himself to have a day or two of rest. Unexpectedly, he did encounter a funny human who tried to kill him — that gave him a good laugh and distraction from the boredom. Hopefully, this being could give him a bigger challenge, or else…

"I'll find you, I can already smell you getting closer." Achnologia said, closing his eyes and finding some peace within the darkness. A twisted smile on his face, his expectations growing by the day.
