A commission for Star_Ringer, featuring the character Blue Devil (Daniel Cassidy) of DC comics! So sure, it may have been quite a bit since he's been in any spotlight, and perhaps the old superhero super-formfitting super-suit of yesteryear doesn't flatter like it used to. OR DOES TBH, depending on one's perspective!

Superhero costumes are just inherently kinky, I always gotta respect it. It was a pleasure to work on this! Because I went by the book on this one, it was a good example for another step by step WIP process. Depending on the nature of the piece itself, I may do the background totally last or utterly first. I usually prefer to just do a rough bit of general planning to get an idea of what I/the client wants as well as what the piece needs. As long as I know where the light is coming from, I can make the sketch placeholder work!
